Im thinking Maybe brown?? Southern maybe barn or rustic wood , roots are brown that appear to have hold or looking to grab hold.
It would be beneficial if logo still looks good if printed in black and white photo copy on documents etc.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We work for Century 21. their logo colors are yellow and black our logo will be used often on a 6 inch x 24 inch name rider. it will be located on the sign frame below the 18x24 inch white background Century 21 sign with black letters and the C21 (dark yellow) house logo.
