Thanks for your submission. I like this concept. It is close to the brief. However, I would like to stay away from the use of "frames" in the logo design itself. That is not to say that the text couldn't be formatted to portray this, or something that portrays the corner of a frame around the text. I like the idea of the gradient colours and the reflection... As a second submission, I would also really like to see a crest-type logo design... as this portrays a genuine or authentic feel.
As an addition, I do like the use of the sixth larger star but maybe this could be incorporated into the text... possibly between the words "southern" and "cross".
Great, thanks for the comments - it'll help me develop the idea. Yes, this one was probably too on-brief but it's good to get that one up there as a benchmark to improve if possible.
Wow. Thanks for your submissions. It is hard to make a choice between them. They are all good. I think I like the ones with the star between "southern" and "cross as two of them do. The shield with the ball and film-reel behind is a very nice touch. Id like to see it without the red-scribble on the soccer-ball if possible.
Glad you're liking them - I was trying t get the right feel - to relate to all the types of memorabilia, and I think these designs are on track. You've chosen what I felt was the best of the bunch for no.1 - the silver and blue seems to work better, but still feels Aussie. Just uploading without Bobby Charlton signature... cheers.
Thanks for your latest submission. I do like the use of creative licence finally. Really liking the concept. I had in mind something more a circle built on to make a badge of sorts but I do like this. Keep it up. Bring on some submissions from the other designers.
This design shows type around the edge of the circle logo - this could be modified to whatever you like. At present it says "SPORTS • MUSIC • FILM • TELEVISION • MEMORABILIA • COLLECTABLES" as an idea.
