Thank-you for your entries! Overall, we feel that you are on the right track. Some recurring comments from our Board members indicate that people see more rainbow/sunset/beachball as opposed to bridge. Also, I think we would like to see a combination of the two texts: "SEVACF" with "Southeast Virginia Community Foundation" underneath of it (in smaller font size). Many thanks again.
Everyone in our group currently reviewing these logos likes yours the best so far. Based on feedback, could we possibly see a combination of #2 & #9? Specifically: Use the thinner font size found in #2 A blend of the bridge designs (meaning, #2 bridge needs to be more bridge, but #9 bridge needs to be more stylish/artistic).
Feedback from one of our Board members: In all logos I'd like to see the "CF" and "COMMUNITY FOUNDATION" in blue to emphasize the fact that we are, first and foremost, a community foundation. In #9 I'd like to see the supports above the bridge removed, for a cleaner look. #2 and #1 can be combined to have "SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION" appear beneath "SEVACF" - again, with the "CF" and "COMMUNITY FOUNDATION" appearing in blue.
Entry #15 is, without a doubt, our favorite so far. I'm not sure what, if anything, can be done at this point to improve it. Some also like #14, but to me, it looks to much like a wave. If there's anything you can do to #14 to make it less wave-like, I think we would have two really good pieces from which to choose. Thanks again for all the effort.
We will be selecting your entry #15 as our winner. However, we would like to see some different versions of the design.
1 - We would like to see some different variations of the colors. The emphasis of the text (both the "SEVACF" and "Southeast Virginia Community Foundation") should be on the "CF" and "Community Foundation". We do not want to deemphasize the "community foundation" aspect.
2 - We like your blue; however, we think the green needs to be slightly different. More "lime green".
3 - On the bridge, we would like to see some subtle supports added below the bridge arch. I emphasize subtle. We saw some other bridge options where the supports either dominated the graphic, or they conflicted with the "SEVACF" text.
