I tried my best to give the mark an Art Deco feel, I also used some of the color schemes from South Beach's very illumine-cent night life. I used the films strips to represent the buildings in South Beach, I kept it very simple, so as not to lose the mark with too much detailing. I hope this mark is close to what you want to have representing your company. Thanks You, David.
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! David, these are GREAT, and I love the use of the colors really captures the South Beach look and feel. These are GREAT. Now I have one request just for the sake of variety. Since, again, it's not a FILM strip but it IS a strip of photos that has frames in it much like a film strip perhaps a version of these in that style where it has the ascending frames but no homage to the reel holes? And if so, can we make the frames to have rounded corners to make it more distinct? Love what we have so far!
David, Again, LOVE IT! However I think the first set it pretty much setting the standard which all the rest will be judged by. Thank you for attempting to create exactly my last suggestion, and while I have one idea of how it may look better as an interpretation I will fail to mention it because I think it will still come in second to your first work. This new one (to me) looks like a carnivale head dress, while the first set clearly gives that art deco style silhouette of buildings. Lets keep these in the contest for now but I feel very strongly for the first set. Thank you again and if you have any other different ideas, I welcome them.
I see what you're doing, but I truly think you out did yourself with the first round. Also, my domain name that I have acquired is southbeachphotoboothco.com, so there may be some confusion with this name as well. If anything, I would love to see entry 20/21 with the words South Beach spelled out in full using the same font that it has. Thank you for all your hard work, I truly appreciate it and I think it will be a challenge for any other designer to come up with something to compete.
