Exterior Wood Staining Pros
What We Do
We are exterior wood refinishing contractors. In other words we make weathered - grey - fences, decks and other exterior structures look new again by power-washing, staining and sometimes, sanding.

Color Preferences
As you can see from some of the attached logos - which by the way if you spot one of your designs I got it as design inspiration from this very same site and will get rid of them from my camera roll once this process is done - I love the orange, orangered, yellow, red and those types of warm colors. But I am open to to possibly using a dark blue if it contrasts well.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I want the name of my company to be part of the logo. I want something simple but also that looks elegant and warm, hence the request for warm colors. I love the logo with the hanging man, of course I don’t want any human silhouette as part of the logo, but rather how the logo seems to be boxed in and the letters are part of that structure. I also love negative space so I don’t want any complex graphic. I want this logo to be as simple as possible but also creative.
Would love to see some submissions with the “Exterior Wood Staining Pros” slogan included as well even if the fonts size is way smaller than the company name which should be the most prominent.
I am also not against using dark grays or light grays and possibly even black.
A little bit more about what we do: we don’t do any painting, we only work with natural stains so the wood maintains its natural color. We pressure wash the wood to clean it before we apply any stain. We apply the stain with brushes and rollers and I mention this in case you want to include a brush or power-wash spray silhouette somewhere. A huge part of what we do is making wood go from looking old to new again. I don’t know how that would be incorporated into the logo but surprise me.
The “South Bay Wood Restoration” logo is the one I currently use and the colors are definitely not to my liking. I have also attached the proposed website redesign, or at least the home page.
This is my current webiste: www.southbaywoodrestoration.com
here are some of my competitors websites: https://www.calpreserving.com/
https://www.teakmaster.com/
I would definitely suggest checking out some of the websites above to find our industry specially some of the before/after work.
I apologize for the long description. I am excited for the logo submissions.
