You did a great job with the silver, which we like. We like your idea about the image logo, because it represents networking. Do you have other ideas in mind that we can possibly see?
Can you also do a version where the logo text is spaced out a tad (a small space between each letter). Also, we'll sometimes be using a white background, so can you make a version of this logo that can go with a white background. Thanks.
with the text spaced out a bit. #55 and the white background version #56. if it's too soft i can always make it darker a bit, but i think this is the best result.
old icon with new defined silver effect on white #68
"Will you be able to make a variation of your logo on a white background if chosen? Silver on white background may not stand out well."
well yes definitely... look at the new defined silver effect i made, it's definitely more standout on white background (#61 and #68) than my first effect (#57).
if #68 icon (the abstract S inside the box) looks like it's pop outside, entry #69 looks like it's engraved inside. just want to show you the difference.... #70 just want to play with angle....
ok make sure you read all of my comments above, and let me know what you think. thanks
By far, we still like the Rank#1 (#55) of your designs. We like the silver in that logo. Please keep that way. We also liked how you spaced out the letters just a little bit. I would keep your new designs in this style silver.
Your other logos lost their nice soft touch in terms of the silver. So just revert back to original silver.
I would focus on trying to come up with different image logos and keeping the silvers the same as that of #55.
As far as the white background, this one is a little tough. The #55 silver is not looking good against the white background.
Here's what we suggest:
1. let's try to make it metallic blue. so instead of making the whole thing silver, let's try to use the blue color you've been using with hints of silver.
2. look at the apple.com site, they do a good job with silver against white background (http://www.apple.com/iphone). Look at their white/silver iphone. It looks nice even tho the background is white. Can you replicate that silver? it doesn't have to be same exact silver as when it's against a blue background.
We actually took a closer look at the later silver you did, and although we still like the original silver, the second silver grew on to us. It actually looks good. And against a white background, it's very much like the Apple's site like we referenced.
For the ones with a white background like #69 , the letters look good, but can you fix the "w" it looks like it kind of melted. The edges or outline are not as sharp as when it's against a blue background #66.
hello, sorry for not replying early. i was out of town yesterday and not having my laptop with me. so i can only online using my cell. i actually read all of your messages. will definitely update the designs and keep you posted. thanks ;)
ok so i updated #69 to #106 #109 #107 #108 and #110 i have made the side of the icon thinner (just like #55). #106 and #109 they both have white background, the differece is that #109 have stronger color, while #106 is softer. #107 the logo with metallic blue and #108 the logo with blue background. #110 is a test on the logo with white gradient background. looks good ;)
#107 I can see how this will look really good if it was more metallic blue. Currently, I see that the blue was simply overlaid over the grey (tho I could be wrong). Can you try this with the blue standing out more?
Thank you for fixing the "w" on the white background, it looks much better now.
The logo on the white gradient background does look good :-)
for the white background, we'd probably want to keep the style like in #109 even though it's a little different from #55 because it stands out more on white background.
#131 doesn't stand out as much as that of #109.
but we would definitely keep #55 as the main design on our blue header if chosen.
would you be able to provide us all the variations if chosen?
there's only an hour left, but do you think you can make other colors that we may need for different marketing schemes like:
metallic red on white background (similar to #130 but in red) metallic green on white background (similar to #130 but in green) black and white on black background black and white on white background
#158 Just noticed in the image logo, the two persons should be white Can you actually make this a softer green (but we want to keep this green as well)
If you don't mind, can you do these colors as well: pink (for breast cancer awareness), orange and purple.
It was great working with you.
Interaction played a big role in our decision to choose your design aside from the fact that you made the best silver and three dimensional look as we wanted. You also understood our requirements really well. Good Luck with your other contests.
Can we get a copy of the silver logo against the blue background WITHOUT the word "employers" on it. Also, can we get the final files for the logo in all the other colors (pink, green, red, black, and white) as well? Thanks
