Discussion

Hi,

Thanks for your input. Your work is artistic (different, emotive, creative), which I like. For #13 I want to stay away from anything that creates a boundary so the logo feels more open. I like the basket and shape of the balloon in #16. I think #17 is a little too much grass and clouds. I'd also like to try and keep the main older logo a large focus of the new logo. I made some suggestions in the general brief comments and I uploaded a compilation of ideas as a file for my thoughts.

Thanks.

Hi,

I like your new direction. It does not necessarily have a wind component, but it appears peaceful, which I like. I like that you added the slogan line I'm going to use "FUN is part of LIFE!" and would suggest the "is part of" being lower case and smaller so that right away people see "FUN LIFE!" and upon a closer look see "is part of"; I also like it underneath like #23 (I wonder what it would like like with colorful "FUN" and "LIFE"). I think the one falling leave can be deleted. On the company name, can you remove the black line underneath, move the "llc" up and right of name (the llc must be clearly visible for legal purposes), and add some flowing grass from the tree to the right that almost touches the company name where the line used to be (not thick but a few clumps of longer grass flowing to the right should give a slight idea of wind); the grass getting small as it goes right indicating distance and fading away? For the balloon, perhaps trying to look more like the sample I uploaded, with a smaller black top, the bottom red a "little" shorter (so the white is larger), and the width of the balloon at the top wider (the top white section 25% wider). Then make the whole balloon bigger (maybe about 40% bigger) so it is more prominent. (If you think best you can move the clouds around based on the larger balloon, possibly a little behind / above the tree.)

You have made me think that my ideas are not the best, so that is good.

Thanks for the good changes #32 #33 #34 (we all like your design).

We like #34 the best (these comments are to changes of #34), and could you adjust the following: 1) move the top cloud up above the tree and end on the right before the balloon; 2) delete the leaf on the right of the tree; 3) make the "is part of" even smaller (about 1/2 the size of "FUN" and "LIFE!" but still justified across the whole bottom, which will mean more space between the words that is OK); 4) the grass and hills of #23 are preferred but with a "little" flowing grass that does not need to be all the way across, perhaps at the tree base and then smaller and fading away (getting smaller) under the company name to your green hills of #23 (no flowing grass under hills); and 5) the balloon red shorter (more white) and wider around the white part top 1/3rd (on the white part I hope to put the final logo minaturized on that part).

Thanks for your great work.

#37 and #38 great, you did everything asked and put the full logo on the balloon. I got my partner and my assistant to look at it and the only request now is to see #37 with just the original logo on it (my assistant thinks the full logo is too complicated on the balloon itself). I like the whole logo on the balloon but would prefer the "FUN is part of LIFE!" to be straight as in the logo under the grass instead of curved, and when the white part of the balloon is made wider, the full logo to remain smaller so there is more white all around it.

For the final touchup (or now) would be: 1) the balloon envelope just right of center where the white and red meet looks like it is dented inward (the shading makes it look concaved at that point) and if that could be made to look like the rest; 2) if the white area from red to black could be a little more wide; and 3) if the bottom basket could have more detail (imilar to the sample I uploaded but without people (I think people may be too complicated for such a small space).

You are very good and I like what you have done.

Oh, the balloon basket can be square facing forward with detail. I think yours now has a corner facing forward with 3 poles to the balloon envelope. If you have a square facing forward like the uploaded balloon design, then it might be easier to add details like the one uploaded.

Thanks.

Wonderful work on #49 and #50!

If you are chosen as the final winner, would you provide both versions #49 and #50 in the different formats indicated by the LogoTournament specifications - the EPS vector file, color PNG for web, black and white JPG, and high resolution color JPG? It appears the only difference is the final logo on the balloon on #50 (I like #50 but my partner is likely to want #49 without the logo on the balloon).

I can think of no suggestions as it looks wonderful. I will ask my partner and assistant to look at it (we are trying to make a joint decision but having both versions in the final package will likey appease us all, so I'll wait for your answer to getting both versions in the different formats before asking them to review it).

Thanks.
