We really like how clean this logo is, reads well at many scales. We like the font and presentation of the firm name. I think the graphic icon needs to better represent the diversity of natural systems and human communities we deal with: soil, vegetation, water, culture, etc. I'm not saying it needs to be one quadrant for each element, but it should work to communicate a breadth of influence and expertise.
Thanks for the effort! I feel like 86 and 89 seem to be moving away from the message, maybe it is that they look like someone in a swimming pool. I think some variations of the rectilinear icon would be good to see. I like the tree formed by the white space in 53/114. What if that were a goldenrod (Solidago sp., google it for images) instead of a tree? What if each quadrant then transformed into another element ( I recognize this conflicts with my previous comment, but that is design right?)?
