Hi, many thanks for all your kind efforts.

I was travelling so could not come back to you guys, but from now on I will try to do that at least once everyday later in the day my time.

I have comments, in general and also for each alternative above (please do apologize my humble comments and criticisms): but I will refrain from ranking yet and leading you into a look, as I still am looking for different and more sophisticated things. But what I like I have commented down in CAPITAL letters so you could follow.

General comments:
- the logo should not include the "motto"
- dark blue, dark green (there is a very refned and attractive dark green, none here are that) and black I understand are better, gray does not give me what I have in mind, neither does purple. When I said puple, I was thinking the polo ralph Lauren purple label logo which I particulary like
- overall I want something very refined, bold and elegant, but not sissy or feminine

For each alternative:
#1 & #2: looks nice but does not bring waht I want to do my mind, would have been good for a sports goods shop
#3: too purple and the style is not what I want
#4 nice but looks more white goods or industrial, the placing of letters also needs work
#5 & #6 liked both but not for my line of work, #5 makes me think of construction materials and the other land rover
#7, #8 	 again all are nice but they all make my gut immediately say no. probably they remind me of other industries and activities (for me, among them 7 is by far the better one, the other two needs much more work than what 7 needs)
#10, #11, #12, #13, #14 & #15, I LIKE THE BOLD AND NOT BOLD LETTERING COMBINATION, ALSO THE ROUND SOMETHING NEXT TO THE LETTERS IDEA. But I did not understand the figure in the first two, and did not really feel warm towards and like that in the other 3.
#21, I think it is nice even though it needs more work, but again not immediately welcomed by my gut. I would not go further with this unless all of it is magically changed.
#19, #20, #22, #23 & #24: Dear JD Merlin, thanks for the efforts but I do not want the watch and strap look. it should not bring watches to my mind but more collecting, luxury, refinement, passion and such notions. I am also moving away from gray as I can not see an attractive use of it. The lettering also do not really grab me.

No need to apologize ozman, i think you are being very fair so far and we appreciate the comments and feedback. Hopefully something close to what you like will surface soon so you can being the ranking process and give us a better idea of what it is you wish to see :-)

Again thanks for your efforts and for the beautiful new logos appearing on my contest. I will give my feedbacks for each new additon now.

I will be entering a black out period after that though and will be back tomorrow night so sorry but no feedbacks till then.

#26; I like it overall but the object does not give me any ideas
#27; I particularly like it very elegant and smart but not old money enough
#28; nice logo, the object is nice too, but I think the size of object is too large and its positioning should be different
#29; this is the leading logo for now; I like the letters and the way name looks, the object’s position, the line and all. But the blue surrounded by a green frame kind of puts me off, the reflection I think would be difficult in applications, and given the object’s size, it is difficult to see its details. Can be a simpler but more visible detail in the object.
#30; pretty much the same comments as above, additionally, I do not like the object in green.
#31; same as above , additionally, the colouring of the letters does not feel right.
#32; this is what I asked for; but again the size and visibility of the detail, the colour of the object and round form, does not feel right

#33; I like the logo and the concept, but the size of the object, the hammer detail in it, the lettering; fonts and positioning, all could further be played with.
#34; different and nice, I like the concept too, but maybe too modern and can be further refined


Dear IdeazDen,

#35; this is nice but not what I would want for my operation
#36; Like this very much, very nice, but I want more dark blue than black and how is it used on white? It is a little too feminine and classical for my operation as it is, so I leave it up to you to decide whether you want to give it another chance and modify it
#37; as above but I like the coloring of 36 better
#38; like this very much overall but no need for too many colours in lettering, I do not want all capital letters, also given the object’s size, it is difficult to see its details. Can be a simpler but more visible detail in the object, and also positioning is good but not my immediate pick. Finally the object looks kind of as it is put there just so that there is an object, the function lacking is evident.
i#39; same comments as above, other than, letter colours and the positioning of the object which are better in my opinion. The logo could use some lines somewhere and some more colour maybe

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be chosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and desicion about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a seperate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frasturating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in chosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

How to Rank and Thank Designers: When it comes time for final rankings, designers appreciate when you choose the top three CONCEPTS (as opposed to variations of the same design) for the gold, silver and bronze awards. If you want to rank two different concepts by the same designer in the top three, that's fine.
Also, rank as many entries as possible, because designers get points added to their overall site standing for each blue ribbon they get.

This is how points are distributed:

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points

After that, each ranked entry gets one point for the designer. Nobody will be insulted by being ranked last, the points are still good! So if you pull some entries out of the "Not Interested" group and give them a rank, the designer gets some benefit from entering your contest.

Hope that's helpful, lots of contest holders don't realize this and most are glad to know. It's a good way to thank designers who don't win the contest prize, but who worked very hard to offer you lots of options to choose from for a great logo.

Dear all,

Thanks for all the lovely logos. It was very difficult to decide so I extended the time.

I would primarily use the time to have my decision sink in comfotably, too many nice things came towards the very end and I am distracted in a very good way. I will also discuss few alternative logos with a website design office that I used previously to understand which one they like most for overall applicaion.
