Sola Coffee CafeLogo Design Contest

We like the few circular one's we've ranked. However, we are attracted to the typography/font of the the word SOLA in the number one ranking. We want Sola Coffee to be the the words with the largest font because that is the name people know us by (sort of like the 3rd ranking).

We also like the implied circle that number 3 has, however not the words 'independent coffee shop'. Stick to phrases like: Raleigh, NC; Est. 2012.

In number 5, we like the forks/knives and coffee cup symbols implying that we are both a coffee shop, but also a cafe with breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I didn´t had time to explore and study other fonts because here is 3:39 am. But tomorrow by afternoon or end of the night i will do that work. Just one question, do you think you could be interested in seeing Raleigh city skyline on your design?

We love the idea of the skyline, but we're located in North Raleigh which is more in the suburbs rather than the city.

Also we really like the depth you've added to the Sola Coffee. We'd love to see variety or the fonts just to have multiple options.

You can get rid of 'Coffee Shop and Cafe' at the top, we feel as though it's repetitive because we have those words in our name.

We like Entry 31, but could you also try flipping the colors to make it look like Entry 35. We were wondering what that might look like.

Also we're thinking Raleigh, NC on the top and Est. 2012 on the bottom.

What are you meaning by a photo of what we see from our building? We're just located in a shopping center with some other restaurants, a grocery store, and a salon. From our front door, you can for the most part only see a a main road that the shopping center sits beside.

We're still really loving number 39, 36, and 31. We're thinking that maybe you switch the coffee symbol in number 36 and 39 to the forks and knives symbol. We want to see what that would look like.

We would also love to see some other font options for 'Sola Coffee'. Maybe a more classic look. Just some variety so we can see other options.

I´m always reading on your site trying to catch something else. Maybe adding in one design a unique element like tree? Or even like in the photo number 2 by adding 2 chairs and the sun umbrella? What do you think? If you like i will do some drawings about this on paper.

We love 55 and 59 a lot. Although we definitely like the fonts of the number 82 and 78. So many try fonts similar to those. Especially 78's font. We don't want the skyline and the umbrella/table is a nice, but they're only used during the summer.

But we're really loving the circular logos for sure.

It's looking great, maybe just give examples with fonts like entry 78 or 82.

We're still leaning towards the top ranked logos for sure. Thanks so much, we've loved your work. If you could even try to find another font that's very simple and classic, we'd love to see it.

Also if there's another fork/knife combo you could use, we'd love to see it. Not anything too different, but we think the fork sort of looks like a hand, haha.

Thank you so much for your artwork, the logo is perfect and it's exactly what we were looking for. We chose it for several reasons. It encompasses the look, style, and energy Sola has as a a restaurant. But we also chose it because of the simplicity, which extends into how easy it would be to place on many different types of merchandise, mugs, cup sleeves, etc. We're wondering if you could give the logo/icon as a unit that we can use for these mupltiple elements (branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery, etc).

I assume you created the logo in the simplest form - monotone. Which we love, but we'd love to have the logo in it's negative so that we can change colors on shirts or mugs, etc. Just so that we can use the logo in full color, B&W, and on colored backgrounds.
