SOBees WaxLogo Design Contest

logo to be used for multiple home made, hyper local, natural products created from bee's wax from my peronal hives. target audience are people who are looking for natural solutions to common problems. example products: hand creams, leather protector, beard balm, mustache wax, pet products.

I intend to sell this in black contains, so the background should be black. I expect that a 'negative' image will work best. I will most likely use an engraver to put the logo on metal tins, IF i use a sticker or printed label, I will use a black background most likely.

I am open to any color combinations, but I think a simple two color logo (black and white) will be most of my applicaiton.

include a stylized bee, include the honeycomb (repeating hex shape found in a honey comb). I like the old hand painted signs and window logos...looking for an old looking logo, This brand is something I am passing on to my kids in the long run and want to have a heritage look and feel of a small town, historic logo. Imagine finding a old can of this stuff in a dusty bin on the back of a shelf in small town 5 and dime store.

The SOB stands for Sons of a Barber. My family name and the idea is the company is to be owned and run by my sons, or can include the sons of my uncles that share our last name.
