Hi,

my suggestion is to go simple and happy with your brand. Keep it clean...so to speak ;-)

So, a hysterical happy blue washing sponge (called Soapy Joe) and happy lettering - Both with movement/dynamic in them in order to reflect the business idea (washing cars is a really active job, right?)

And, since you do it for the customer - he's happy... and consequently Soapy Joe is happy.

Remember that any addition of more gradient, bubbles or what have you... of course will make Soapy Joe look better and maybe more detailed...but please keep in mind that the logo should be able to scale well and not be too expensive to print. That's why I've selected a fairly simple yet well balanced layout with few colours.

Hope you like it!

Regards

Even darker font with a third colour. More 3D element on Soapy Joe.

Forgot the highlight on the tongue. It's all in the details.

Wow! You just took the majority of the votes!! The reason I chose #75 is because I like that you incorporated bubbles into it. If we could make the lettering a few shades darker, that would be great. My boss liked the darker lettering . . he feels that it pops out more so than the others . . Would also like to see a version of him smiling rather than his toungue sticking out . . those are the changes that he feels will make this logo to his liking

I would also like to see the sponge in a different color than the text

Thank you for your entry! It is greatly appreaciated and definitely brought smiles to the partners faces!

Glad you liked it!

Will focus on the requested alterations tomorrow, so you can ponder over them during midsummer weekend.

It's likely I will be away for 3 days since it's holiday here, but no worries, I'm never far away! ;-)

Again, thanx for the positive feedback.

..working on it right now... hopefully all will be ready in time.

1. You get three smiles (which are included as different layers in the file) which you can switch on or off
Mouth colour coordinated with text to balance better.
small smile - slightly open mouth
large smile - open mouth (no tongue)
whacky smile - with tongue
(easy to add new mouths as needed)

2. Darker lettering

3. Two different white outlines. One is for "cut-out" stickers (classical gas station sticker type) and includes the bubbles. The other white outline is for normal printing.

4. Wheels. Hmm.. could maybe become a bit over explanatory. But hey! It's your call ;-)

All parts and segments in the vector file is in separate layers and named accordingly (i.e. "eyes", "body" et.c.)

On black back with white outline. Think black Tee.

On black back. Think classical gas station sticker for cut out - in order to keep all elements including bubbles inside sticker area.

Version with wacky smile.

Remember that ALL smiles are included in the file and can be switched on/off as you please.
Same goes for the white outlines.

Version with darker eyes - maybe gives more soul?

Remember this is in the original file. Hence no alterations needed!

Regular yellow Soapy Joe sponge

Maybe the different colours can be for different washing stations? (Environmental green, Normal, Deluxe, et.c.?)

#85 smile is better. I personally don't like the wheels. Can you make this small small smile drop directly down to make it a bit larger but not have it cocked to the side?

Wait, so we get all of these when the logo is handed over to us & we can make changes accoringly?

Wacky red Soapy Joe - Suitable for the kids washing station, maybe?

And again. I'm starting to sound nagging, aren't I? ;-) The colours, white outlines, darker eyes and so forth - are ALL included in the vector file and on separate named layers that easily can be switched on or off.

...as an example... changing mouth and adding white back with just two clicks and a 'save' command.

Hi,

"Wait, so we get all of these when the logo is handed over to us & we can make changes accoringly? "

That is correct. The vector file is all layered and I've taken some time to make it really easy for you guys.
You can select smile, wheels/no wheels, green/red/yellow/blue... well ALL the alterations you see here you can combine...it's all in the same file.. good eh? ;-)

Here's the 'medium' straight down smile you requested.

This is the last alteration I have time to do before the I leave. But remember that during "judgement phase" which usually is a couple of days you have always time to ask for alterations with whom ever you set as number one. Only this designer can add new designs during that time.

And, don't worry I wont stay gone. You are always free to contact me. And any delivery of files we can arrange for during Sunday/Monday.

Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it and hope that you and your customers will enjoy the new logo.

The files will be transferred on Sunday afternoon (Swedish local time). This will be the Logotournament standard delivery of 1 EPS file (layered vector) and one JPG file (bitmap).

Any other file or the original Adobe Illustrator file, we arrange separately, after payment.

Happy holiday!
