The chimpanzee mascot was chosen for its playfulness in inquisitive nature.

Exuberant exclamations over the "S"... symbolizing learning... ideas... and playful expression.

I'm wondering what #33 might look like if the exclamations were replaced with shooting rockets and stars. Or perhaps small shapes -- star, diamond, square, circle, triangle, each one a different bright color -- shooting off. What do you think?

I'd be happy to take it in that direction. Thanks so much for the input.

Thanks so much! I spoke with my catalog designer and she mentioned that the red/blue color combination is used for a lot of popular logos. Would you be able to try a couple of other color combinations, to see if we can differentiate the logo a bit more? Still bright, bold colors, but not red/blue?

Would you have time to try one more thing? I like the original red/blue combo with the smiley face. I'm not sure about the shapes shooting off from the S though. Is there another way that you could incorporate small, bright, colorful shapes? I don't see them being part of the words, but maybe the shapes can be shooting off from the center of the top line, or they can be placed strategically around the word block. Your thoughts?

New color combos. The blue is actually darker than it appears on screen. If you have a print shop close by...you may want to drop in and ask to see their PMS book (coated PMS 280).
