I will upload .eps and .jpeg in much larger size for your review and approval. Once approved, I will prepare and deliver any other files you need to your email.
Yes, I will include the font name in the email :-)
We'll review them tomorrow, & select the winning design.
Do you provide .ai files, or only .eps? Also, wondering whether you would able to tell us what the font(s) are that you have used when you provide the files - for further marketing etc.
However, we would like to make a choice for our new company colours from different shades of green - would you prefer if I investigated myself & let you know which colour we prefer? I am happy to do this, I merely thought it would be easier for you than me, as you have the original design to work with.
This green is similar to the partitions shown on Bentley House's website. It's in RGB because it's a photo, and they display it on their website, a medium that reflect colour using lights.
The photo has been manipulated, just like the green showing here.
Hi Claire, I wish to explain how colour work on different medium before confusing you with other shades..
This is the same green and grey used with the one in #125. However, the green here is brighter because it's in RGB, which reflects colours using lights from our screen.
The green in #125 appear dull in comparison because it's in CMYK, the true green you'll see when printed out on A4 paper (without light). We present the design in CMYK to avoid the illusion of its true color when you print it on business card or letterhead.
All good on the design side, we like it very much, thanks for your work!
Would you be able to give us say 5 options for different shades of green for the 'L' & 'LANDSCAPES THAT LAST'?
We would like to keep it bright & modern, we aren't looking for a dark forest or olive green shade, but just would like to look at some variations. E.g. there was an additional shade of green you included in some of your earlier designs on dark grey.
Another example is http://www.bentleyhouse.com.au/ - if you scroll down to a heading LINK you will see an aerial view of a workstation with green partitions - these shades on white appeal also.
Hello Zhao,
Thanks for that! We would like to pull a few features from each of your designs if that's ok!
1. We like the green 'L' in your designs # 119 & 120 - can we replace the grey L & tree with this?
2. We also like the font for SLS in the name in these designs & would like to use also.
3. Top left S in the image - can we trim the stem so that the circle outline is continued rather than sticking out as it is now?
4. Bottom S in the image - the sharp corner at the bottom of the first curve - could we round this off (let me know if you need further explanation - hard to explain!) & please fill in the white curve through this section also.
I'll attach a picture to the contest if you like with some notes - I'll delete the attachment as soon as you've got it clear!
Hi, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. I agree that it's too busy especially when you need to embroider/print it on uniform..
I will work on simplifying the design, less abstract and if possible, try to incorporate S L S into the image while maintaining the overall look and feel.
Hello, thanks for your efforts so far! We like this design, & have reviewed as a team... some are not so sure about it – some comments have been: too busy, needs a more distinct image, needs to mean something in relation to our business. We all like the colours, text & general feel – but would rely on your skills as a designer to come up with some adjustments! One suggestion would be to incorporate the S L S in the logo image, I am not sure how you would achieve this. Please let me know if you would like any further feedback to clarify what we are after.
Thanks for your submission! Has potential... really like the colour combo, clean font. Perhaps a bit more pictorial than we were thinking... a more abstract design might appeal more. We definitely need Group as part of the business name (full registered name is SLS Landscape Group), not sure how you would incorporate this. Would not have to be the same colour as the SLS Landscape text, as ‘SLS Landscape’ is definitely the important part of the name.
I don’t know whether it helps, just looking down your Top Selection portfolio in your profile, I really like the abstract designs for Urban South Group, Miami Sunshine Realty, & Ecofrag.

Yes, let me prepare them now..
I just wanted to check - do you upload the .eps & large .jpg files after we have selected the winner?

I further brighten it up with a photo manipulating software on this one, but when you print it out on paper, you'll get the same green in #125.

I will work on making 'Group' part of the name, and create a more abstract pictorial.
