Few comments: 1. The lightning bolt indeed signifies quickness but perhaps it's a bit too dominating. See if you can make it a bit more subtle. 2. #25 is a bit to slick perhaps. Can you try and make it more rugged and masculine. Look of designing a logo for a military commando unit that just happen to be in the technology sector. 3. The slingshot looks right now more like a Y than a slingshot. Can you try and make it more slingshotty? :-)
Thank you for the feedback. A few modifications have been made in this draft #53. The lightning bolt is narrower and the badge has been made to look more coarser.
Re #25: 1. Can you make just the lightning a bit less dominant. 2. We decided not to include the slogan "product inceptions". Therefore can you please try and leave the slingshot word at the top of the circle and the ops at the bottom?
#63#64 #65 The bolt is less prominent and the slingshot is different in the last two versions. Please let me know what further revisions are required. Thank you.
I think we're getting closer. #25 and #63 are relevant for our case.
1. In a separate logo, can you try for #63 to have the same lightning bolt as in #25 only with two segments rather than 3? so it's not as long and dominant. 2. Can you show us how will this logo look like on white background as well?
1. Please make the font just a little bit smaller. Doesn't seem like there's enough room above and below the letters. Also, please make sure that the space above and below the letters is equal. 2. Please make the font completely opaque (right now there seem to be a bit of black dots in it). 3. Is the 'Ops' word aligned to center? Please make sure it is. Same goes for the word 'Slingshot'.
Re #77 and #78: this is not the same font as before. I can tell that from the letter G which looks different. We want the font to be as in #25, only fully opaque. Thanks.
Blaine - #79 and #80 look very promising. Just ranked them at the top.
1. Can you please show how the logo would look on the same background as in the webiste? 2. Can you add some shading to the outer circle to give the logo a bit more depth? Let's see how it looks. 3. If you look at #37 you see that it's as if there is intense light at the top of the logo. Can you try and add that in a way that makes sense to the latest designs? In #37 i think the light is too intense and makes it difficult to read the letters SHO. Try and add something which will be very subtle. Basically I'm trying to add a bit of "shininess" to the logo.
Blaine - on top of the above requests, we may also need the logo without the Slingshot Ops text. Can you show us an example for that? (I don't think that just hiding the text will work because then there will be too much void).
#84 - looks really good. I love the lighting and reflection you put there. Very nice.
I know you created it in response to my request to to create a logo without the Slingshot Ops text. Since it looks so well, can you please try adding the text around this logo in a way that will look well? I know you can do it!
BTW, in case you didn't understand it, you're 99% the winner of this tournament!
#81 is in response to your earlier message before the request for a design without the text. It has depth and some shine. #84 is the center part of #81 only enlarged. Please let me know if you'd like to see #84 with text but without the blue background circle behind the text. Thank you.
Blaine - seems like #84 is different than #81's center part. The reflection/light is different.. I'm looking to see how we can add the text to #84 with background in a way that will look good. Thanks!
For #84 I added the shine as it looked plain without it which is why it looked different from the center of #81. #85#86#87 are revisions. #85 has a shine on the inside circle. #86 has the shine on both circles.

Since the system wouldn't let me rank all the designs we worked on as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place I had to rank #84 and #80 as 4th and 5th. Anyhow, #79, #80 and #84 are our top 3 choices. Great work. Would appreciate if you upload the files for all 3 designs Thanks so much.
