Hi Bordo, thanks for your submissions. #71 looks fantastic and is definitely the kind of thing we're looking at. If your'e able, we'd love to see #62 with a bolder white text in the middle. Thanks for the fantastic designs!
Thanks for the revisions, Bordo. The sharp finish of your designs is impressive. :)
After looking at the square-edged sans fonts #62 #67 #74, I can see it's going to be difficult for you to have a smooth finish like your original #71 (aka Purple Skype lol).
Some feedback on the others... #74 - looks weak around the 'oo' in skoop, due to the font. Unsure of how to improve though. #86 - the extra band of colour makes it too busy and loses the instant impact that #71 has. #88 and #89 - are a bit plain and your other designs are much more preferable #94 - looks great, we just prefer the #96 option #77 - again is nice, though the white type has greater impact than the inverse application used here #78 - doesn't "pop" like the other versions
Fantastic work Bordo. Would love to see any ideas you might have regarding abstract mark concepts!
Here is variation with "abstract" mark. Entry #136 and Entry #137 At first glance it seems as abstract mark but actually it is "S" in the negative space.
Very nice, Bordo. I must admit I personally only saw it as an abstract mark (kind of like a candy wrapper) until you told me! Now that I see it, I really like it. Is there any way to make it a little more obvious? Not entirely circle it in, but something a little more subtle?
We'd like to see what you can come up with, using #137 as the base. Perhaps making the text a little larger at the same time. Thanks!
Just some more feedback on #137 - could you possibly incorporate a bit of colour to the abstract mark and convert the text to black? Similar to #190 in balance.
We'd still need the mark to be a little more obvious on the 'S'
Thanks Bordo. We still like your abstract mark from #295, but would like it tweaked a little so that it's stand-alone, and more like http://www.team100k.org/images/3.png - we'd also like to see it with the text from #96 in a rendered styling.
All of the other designs aren't grabbing us as much as this concept.
Bordo, do you think #301 would look good with a black mark, black text and the colour through the mark (like you did in #444 ?
We also really like #537, though would like to see it with the font as EUROSTILE bold with a 150 tracking and a slight rendering. tweak as you see fit. :)
