Hi Paull - tks for your designs! You are on the right track - particulary with #3 and #4, i like the way you have changed the letters around using what u call 'font stylization'... I am looking for something that looks a bit more expensive looking as even #3 and #4 appear to be a bit generic, maybe making the font less bold somehow to make it look a bit more premium? I like the way you have joined the I from skin and engineer.
#20 and #2, i dont like the font of the word skin - it is a bit to feminine looking.
tks for #52 and #53 - they are great, is it possible to put #53 at the front of a revised #3 ?
also when thinking abt a revised #3, what about using a different font and making a line out of the joining e's in engineer in black also to match, do u think that wld work?
cool - even the font you used for nanica looks good in your portfolio, maybe not something so futuristic - but more modern looking then whats used for #3,
tks paull ... the first revision #116 i like it the best out of your current deisgns, i am now rethinking about joining up the I of skin and engineer, your first designs was one of the ones i first looked at - but i think that having the seperate would look better. its a tough one as the joined i makes the logo a bit more interesting, but i think it will still look better seperate ... im not too sure what else you could do here, i do like the font - but i think it would look good another 'masculine' notch up ...
tks paull ... re #205 and #206 i am just mindful that i am after a logo that can do everything (from product packaging to print, to promotional items) ... which is why im going for a more simple design thats easy to reproduce ... unfort, block colours won't work very well for everything im looking to do, so i still favour #116 out of your designs ... i like + appreciate, how you have tried to take it up a notch, look fwd to seeing what else you can do
Update. Made first letter capital, I think it gives more masculine look. Also, overall typography has been updated, including double "I", which will look interesting even in one colour.
tks for your updates paull ... #306, i apprecaie u have tried to step it up for me with the line, but it feels disconnected with the rest of the design ... however, i tested your design #304 and the feedback was pretty +ve, a couple of guys said that they like the semi-retro look about it .... ill have to see what happens when i get my test sample together this saturday to run through it and judge it for me - good luck!
i also appreciate how on #268 you have kinda meshed skin and engineer together - nice touch ... could you pls do a black on white revision ... is it also possible to put skin and engineer next together (kinda like on the one line), wld be interested to see what that looks like too, tks vm
tks for these - ill be working out the winner tonight with the test market - so fingers crossed, tks again for taking the time to work up the designs with me, appreicate it
