Discussion

We are almost prepared to award you the prize for #20. Can you prepare a couple of variations:

Comments: The smaller DS doesn't look right in this one. Make SP and DS the same size (top and base). The vertical line should only go top to base as well. Blue SP, Black vertical line and DS.

Also, can I see Samit Patel Design Studio either:
1. On One line below the logo as in #3
2. Split on two lines below
3. Split on two lines next to the logo.

Ok, we're close with Entry #61 and are not reviewing any other designer's logos. I'm working with a client on this so here are his comments:

- Can you try a font like this on the DS: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9f3hnch06908pt9/Screen%20Shot%202013-10-04%20at%202.42.46%20PM.png

- Also, the DS is too dominating. Either un-bold it, or make it little smaller.

- The vertical line needs to extend a little past the top and bottom. Make it a little stronger also. Its a little too faint.

- I like the two lines below. Especially in the two colors. Maybe bold Samit Patel.

With those comments, can you output three versions:
- An updated one on #61
- An updated one with Samit Patel were stacked under SP and Design Studio stacked under DS?
- Ad updated one with Samit Patel Design Studio in two lines next to the logo.

#67 is the final candidate.

Also, one of the previous iterations (Round 2-#4), you had the space between Samit Patel and Design Studio aligned on center with the vertical line. Is that not possible anymore? If the name is stacked, can the kerning be adjusted on Design Studio so that it fits under DS?

- Tighten the gap to the right and left of the vertical line. I think the whole think is too wide right-to-left and too spread out.
- Take out the space between Samit Patel and Design Studio (leading) and full justify.
- Can you experiment with centering the vertical line on the stacked text?

So close:
1. One little tweak, give the SP a little more weight. The DS tends to dominate.
2. I would still like to have it be "narrower/tighter" in the SP DS Overall, it feels too wide.

#85 - Sorry, my client keeps coming back with things. I think this is it.

"Squeeze the left and right margins on the text to just inside the outside extents of the logo. Its a graphic thing I've employed in layouts I've done. I typically don't set margins to the full width of a logo above. For example: if the logo is 1" wide, the right and left margins for the text would be .1 or .05 indented from that. With rounded letters, its a visual perception thing. Right now, it appears as though the text goes beyond the logo, even though it it totally up to the edge."

I'm a little confusion :(
did you mean like this #86 #87 ?

No. Basically on #85, trim a tiny bit off the left and right margins on the Words only making them slightly smaller (both lines) than the logo. Just a tiny bit

You're the winner. PS: We selected #85, not the newer iterations.
