I like the contrast that the background provides in Entry 21 (it "pops" well), though the location of the whiter segment (line) washes things out a bit. Is there another location/method of grading the color of the back ground that might work? Another color of background?
I like the way the background has variable shading in #29, but the color isn't right for what I'm hoping to do. Would it be possible to use black outline and some shadowing to set the lettering apart for #12 and use a variably-shaded background blue that has a feel more similar to the background used in #29?
I really like the design concept and the "Flow of air" feel that the underlining gives.
I'm just working on it ;) Thanks for all compliments and motivation!
So if I understood you correctly, you want me to modify #12, letters should have black stroke and some shadowing to look more 3D, background shuld have same gradient as #29 but with base color of background color in #12?
You got it! #44 is the best one so far. It really gives the 3-d effect and nice sense of "flow" with the air/underlining. I also like the cant of the nose (a little upwards as compared to the one rendered in white).
Is there anything that can be done to make it "pop" a little more? Is this a color issue? Would another color/colors be better? Would the addition of a bit more black help out?
There is a lot of color issues yes, because of a very alive background shading... so many clear colours come up too much fluorescent with background combination. But I'm sure that I will find the good one so the nose will "pop-up" a little bit more ;)
