We like the use of color, and a little more detail than just the wording.

We also want to move away from a "corporate" feel and be a little more casual, friendly, homey, relaxed - without feeling too informal.

The addition of detail, however, should be meaningful - reflecting our company's intentions of simplicity, peace, and balance. Perhaps the idea of symmetry as well.

We are liking the more vibrant colors, though not extremely bold or harsh.

Narrow fonts or lowercase are best. Not looking for bold. We want it to be noticeable and striking but not harsh (same idea as with colors).

Some tools/visual concepts we use in our business - file folders, pencils/pens, totes, filing cabinets, calendars, planners, shelves, containers, cubbies, color-coded labels, an orderly desk, rulers, measuring tape, a line of arranged items by color/size, etc.
