I like the whole set actually, only thing that i could even remotely think of is possibly a fresher pink, slightly brighter, but not hot pink. Great work!
Thank you! I'll work on some color tweaks this afternoon. The open contest portion of the process will be over but as long as I'm ranked in the top 5 spots I'll be able to submit variations. Thanks for your time and feedback.
Great! Her location of the as far as her location. Whole logo set is superb, the colors may need a little tweeking. The only thing I worry is the italic/slanted font. The thickness of the font is one of the things I like, it would strong enough to read on a billboard, but hard to read what the actual letters are I think (slanted). Any other fonts?
Thank you. I've submitted a few variations. #586 and #587 are using a different font. #587 was designed for instances that you might only be able to use a text logo. Because using the girl image plus the text may be hard in some situations where you are limited in space. But it's just a thought, so if you aren't fond of them no problem.
#588 & #589 are just variations of the original entry. I decreased the slant in the text and tweaked the colors a bit to be a little brighter. Let me know if you think of anything else or have any comments on these entries. Thank you!
Absolutely. I just submitted a new set. I know the font selection isn't as fancy as some of the other entries in the contest, but I think it works well with how I've used the girl graphic, without the two competing for attention. It's fun and inviting in my opinion, and very easy to read and recognize. Hope you like!
Do you have a font like the "my twinn" font, it is a little stronger, would look great on a billboard, storefront and the color is perfect. mytwinn.com Thanks,
The color is great but I don't think it is memorable. I like 587 but several people stated it was too thin a font to be on a store front where people from the road would never be able to read it.
Can you send me some fonts, with just the word Sillie Rillie and nothing else? Maybe one color for Sillie and the other for Rillie. I like the large font as far as the thickness (635), but it does not have that uniqueness to the font. Needs a hint of girly, possibly altering a part of a letter or two. #674 has those characteristics, but a little hard to read.
Thank you again for all your help. Your work is awesome!
Can we do something special to the font of #634? Possibly change a part of a letter or two, tilt, add or modify something on it slightly to make it unique?
Also, the girl in the circle -I like how she is on top of the wording. The blue circle and blue dress-makes the girl hard to see I think. Also the dots around her look like bubbles. Hmm....I think it might take away from the look of her jumping.
Sorry for the delay! I am very much still interested and available. Here's some different font variations I've been working with that have some more character than the previous, giving them a little more girly feel. I did make sure that I keep all of them fairly bold so they stand out. I've also altered the image according to your feedback, but let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see. Thank you!
I am so glad! #634 is my favorite font, but I was actually wondering if we could make an alteration to the font itself. Keep 634 font or similar font, you were right it is so clear/clean. Then change a letter(s) in it. Possibly a slight tilt/rotation, something to the dots of the i's, something on the "e" in Rillie, maybe change out the "L"s to cursive...I don't know...just some ideas as I don't have any marketing/logo/graphic background. I think the hot pink circle behind the sillie rillie girl is too dark/start. Not sure what to do about that.
What's your thoughts on #634 vs. #587? They are both excellent.
I've uploaded two more designs that are variations of #634. One has the letters imperfectly aligned to give it a bit more playful feel - #700. For the other one, I've gone in and curved in the sides of the letters (i's & l's) and also tweaked the 'e' a little. Overall it gives the text a bit more girlish feel - #699.
As far as my thoughts on #634 vs. #587, which I also like both of them. I do think that #634 is going to end up working better for your needs across multiple applications (billboards, web, print, and especially embroidery). I also think it works better with the girl image because it isn't as 'busy looking' as #587. If you were to go with #587 in the end, I would recommend not using the girl image with it. Just because it gets to be a little much.
Oh and also, we'll be able to tweak the girl image into a 2D version to better match any text once there is access to a vector (eps) version.
I really like 634 but it needs a little something. I see where you adjusted the e's but it is not as noticable as I would like. If the font were by itself, how would people know what it is/what we do? Can you send me several tweeks?
#701 was the first variation I was able to do, I'm continuing to work on more. I redrew the girl image so it was a close up and placed more emphasis on the bow, and so it's better able to be used at smaller sizes. Brand recognition using just fonts though is largely based on getting your name out there through advertising, which does take time.
But, I can drop the girl image in the logo and work up a wordmark incorporating a bow image to tie in what you do, but I don't necessarily recommend doing both because you'll end up with multiple options of the logo and lose the effect of having a single, recognizable logo.
Let me know if you think of anything else. Thank you!
