Silicon Valley Finance GroupLogo Design Contest

I like the way the logo looks like a waffer (high tech) or a rising sun (future/beginnings) and has elements of an office building too. A little more color would be nice. I like the way you have balanced the long name. I like the simplicity of the font of "finance group", but am so-so with the "silicon valley" font. Maybe the "silicon valley" font can be more "web 2.0" ish?

I am not sure if any of these are heading in the right direction. Let me know if any of these ideas work. Thanks

#9 is my favorite of all these. I like the subtle color on the letters which further refects the rising sun. Moving in the right direction with the font; I think I prefer font on #5.

I was wondering how the "finance group" would look if it was in a light gray and slightly smaller?
