Sophisticated, smart, stylish real estate team in Charlottesville Virginia.

Blue, Turquoise, Coral, Navy, Grey, shades of green, purple, orange, yellow-- all fine. Most likely NOT red or mostly black. Need to have a simple B/W option that would still make sense.

I love the idea of trying to tie in peacock colors and peacock quill into SIGNATURE real estate. That may be way too much to try to pull into one graphic, but just an idea.

I also generally love the shapes/sentiments behind- pineapples (stand for hospitality), chandelier silhouettes (fancy), trees, wheat, dandelions, houses, paint splatters, paintbrush, roofs, windows, doors, etc. I have sent several links to icons of these items that I like, but I don't necessarily like how they incorporate the text or the rest of the logo. I love script and handwriting fonts, but it would have to be VERY legible (jenna sue). I also like when the company name is script, and the the slogan, etc is in a more clean, standard font- I love Aventir, Century Gothic, Arno.

I am a real estate agent/team but seem to like the logos designed for the service industry, events industry, and the retail industry a bit better- I feel like photographers and interior designer logos would have some commonalities to mine- I DON'T really like the standard real estate logos with just houses and icons. If a house were part of my logo, I would probably want to see it incorporated in a witty or stylish way. I love when the letters in the text of the logo transition straight into the mark. It cannot be TOO feminine, as I need to be able to attract male real estate agents to the team in the future, so I guess the feminine side is really more "luxury" than anything, but a little bit of frill is ok.

This may make the contest too open-ended, but I am not tied to my team name at all. If you have a great logo idea/name that would involve one of the images I really like- I'd be open to it. I think I need to have Sasha Farmer & Associates or Sasha Farmer or Farmer & Associates in the slogan or the name, but I just like the idea of Signature Fine Properties because of the options it provided graphically. I am completely re-branding so am not tied to that name yet if you have other ideas. However, I AM tied to stylish, sophisticated, boutique-y, and smart.
