Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

Thank you for the submission thus far. Feel free to BE BOLDER and take the liberty of going a little "wild" with the idea and concept. This is Southern California! People would accept a company / designs a little less "conventional" per se, and more radical. Thanks! TIm

Would really encourage that the mark have a more FREEHAND style included (as opposed to a "corporate" look) - and reflect the TERRAIN of the SIERRA RANGE. "Sierra" is whimsical and wild - yet very strong and permanet. A force that should be admired and respected. Thanks, Tim

Entry currently RANKED #2 is nice - love the mountain / rock face in a more natural state / image. Explore images of the SIERRA MOUNTAINS that include MAMMOTH, MOUNT WHITLEY, and the great peaks of YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK that includes EL CAPITAN and HALF DOME!!! Best, Tim

Dear Finalist - amazing work! Thank you so much!

Here's just one more simple idea to consider with the ones we've selected as Finalist - as it only came to me as I was looking at all these great entries: Incorporating the very first letter ("S" in Sierra) into the EXISTING logo (that you've designed) somehow (but only on the right side as it's emerging / coming-out of the logo INTO the name SIERRA). The beginning of a DREAMWORKS movie does this very nicely... as the D emerges out of the clouds and begins to form the word. This could be a very nice & classy touch - as it would combine the word with the landscape for which it represents. Yours, Tim
