Color Preferences
Blues and Greens should be important (Aqua...) but an interesting use of complementary colors would be ideal. Need to make sure that the logo can look good in b&w or using solid colors even though you may use gradients and other artifices in your concepts.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Included is a color palette with some of the colors we'd like to find in there but do not restrict yourself to these as we would like to see what you can come up with in regards to complementary / secondary colors (orange, other earthy tones to contrast well with the blues and greens etc...

#3 & #4 these are good starting points, the b&w version shows how well the logo would work in a limited medium (fax, one color print). I like the the two arrows concept but this part of the logo could be made stronger with gradients and or addition colors. Love the typography treatment but perhaps more intricate color scheme there too.

#8 the gradient is a move in the right direction but it might be a bit too subtle, think web 2.0 glass and/or gradients. The blues from #3 were much closer to what I had in mind, I've re-uploaded a palette of blues and greens from which I would like the main colors to be from or similar to. The orange is a good idea but the shade would definitely need to be darker. I prefered the two tone blue for the type part, maybe using some kind of gradients in there would make the words stand out without going into other colors. Extra colors should mostly be in the pictorial rather than the type.

#9 I like the idea of pictorial and type being side by side but as much as that shape works in the other layout it doesn't quite work visually side-by-side. It might just be a matter of getting a different shape more suited to that variation.

I like some of the options I've seen so far but I've extended the contest to have a much broader selection to pick from in the end.

Please make sure that your logo examples are on white backgrounds, using gradients as a background would kind of force our overall look when using the logo or make it so that you need to box the logo in, so I'd rather have it stand out on its own when seeing examples.
