Hi Markie Mobile & Billy BizModel - I need to point out that the font you've chosen from Dafont does not have a commercial license associated with it. It is only listed as free for personal use, and there is no license file with the download indicating who the author is. Do you have permission from the font designer to use it commercially?
Thank you for your interest and your comments about the font. We went ahead and purchased a commercial use license for the Teaspoon font. We posted a link to the font and the receipt of our purchase at http://www.shmoozy.com/logo.html
We encourage designers to read our notes/ideas about what we're looking for in our logo in the link listed above.
we as deisnger are not going to purchase a typeface for the off chance of winnnig...you should supply us with a downloadable link to the vector version of YOUR LOGO NAME ONLY ******* NOT THE ACTUAL FONTS****
as long as you convert shmoozy to outline we can use this
We have further clarified what we are looking for in the shmoozy logo and have updated our design brief that you can view at http://shmoozy.com/logo.html
We will be ranking the top 10 entries everyday for the rest of the contest to convey which designs we like the most.
Please know that at the end of the contest we will rank every entry that we receive so you get credit, and we will also spread out the final ranking so that no designer dominates in terms of points in the final ranking. But at this stage it's more manageable for use to focus on ranking the top 10 entries.
