Please use color in the logo (not predominantly black/white and gray).

It is okay to use a star in the logo design, however, I am located in Texas where the state logo is a single five pointed star. I would like to avoid creating a logo similar to the Texas star. Thanks!

I like including the tag line and the text layout in Entry #13.

I like the readability and color of the text in Entry #9.

I am receiving some feedback from clients and friends. I'd like to share this information with you.
In general:

They are not liking the color orange.
They are not liking black backgrounds.
They are leaning towards design elements that convey light (illumination & enlightenment).
