first entry, the concept is simple: stylized evolution of a butterfly - from a simple egg to an adult butterfly

This is very good Peter. I wanted to rank this as no 1, but was not allowed to do so by the logo tournament web site as you are a new designer here... Anyway, this is the best suggestion so far. Like the fact that you created a pattern, and made use of the negative space in between. Feel free to explore other colors as well.
When I saw all the objects in the patten, and the fact that there are butterflies there, I can't help to wonder how it would look if a wind made them swirl, like in a soft spiral or tornado style - but not so strong.

Anyway, I like it.

#65 nice to see that it worked well with black background also. I like it - but will move it to "not interested" group so I can keep a better overview without to many variations. But feel free to post variations, always good to see and for inspiration.

Hi!

Actually I think the first suggestion #64 was better for the chage-pattern.

What I thought of was more something of a combination of these two images:

a swirl or something like that, in 3D. Perhaps not so easy to do?

After seeing #72, I would say that this nice pattern works better as a plain 2D. So the swirl would probably need other graphical elements..

The new colorscale was also very nice, but the old is just a little bit better.

the 3d effect is a bad idea. and is hard to achieve the right way.i will try some swirls in 2d..here is one for now - "the burst":
PS: the process of metamorphosis of a butterfly is my idea..don't encourage the others to copy it.

#94 It's nice! Two downsides: Perhaps to many small object - and the circular shape that is very common. But I like that the small parts create a wholeness, the burst. I have to concider it a bit more...

Regarding the PS - sure, you where the first one doing it, but I actually put the suggestion in the brief.. So I would not be too competative about it unless someone actually copies your design - but I don't think anyone would do that - the are well aware of the rules. They had to do something quite different.

#102 Yes, this is very good! The colors enforses the shift, and there is a movements to it. I do have to think about this a litte. I don't really have any feedback for now. Nice colors, well balanced, nice text logo. Good readability. Well implemented idea. Even feels a bit like magic sparks from a wand or a comet - also good.

I like all three suggestions very much - they are good in different ways.

That's exactly what i wanted and what i think suits your business best - movement, metamorphosis, interaction, change and a subtle magic feel to it, i'm glad that you noticed without me explaining it, it means that i did my job well
