Hi Joe Dexter!

Nice one. The blue and grey works well together, and you paid nice attention to details, like letting the blue glow onto the grey parts. Nice with smooth gradients and the drop shadow.

Perhaps the grey is a bit dark, and the text logo is a bit to plain - but the focus must be to find a nice symbol first.
Another thing - I need the symbol to work with borth the text logo "shifters" as well as the Swedish translation "Omskiftare". That means that when the winner is selected, I would need to versions of the text (not now). So using, for example, an "S" in the symbol would not work - better to make it abstract with no connection with the text.

And I like the thought of the abstract symbol to somehow relect a shift, a change. I do not mind some connection or relation with sci-fi or something like that - like a shape shifter, magic or just some creative force.

#58 Yes, It could work with the butterfly - especially if it was half way out of the cocoon, the pupa, hatching, on its way to become a butterfly.

Are there any other animals that do similar thing? perhaps a dragonfly.. or another animal. I don't know.

I love the simplicity of the logo - clean and strong - but I feel that something iss missing to show the "shift".

#129 I'm afraid.. to much IT company over it I think. The clean butterfly was better - see prev. comment. Thanks for the new suggestion!

#58 As i commented before, this is a very nice logo - but it would make a big difference for me if it was half way out of the cocoon, the pupa, hatching, on its way to become a butterfly. Something to show the actual change, the shift.
I like the fact that the butterfly is directly connected with the text.

#189 #190 #191 #192 #193 #194 Thanks for the hard work on the updates! I'm sorry to say, but I liked the style of #58 - the simplicity - much more. The new one feel - I don't know - less original and not as strong in their graphical expression. So #58 - alsmost the same but the butterfly leaving the cocoon?

#224. Thans for the update with the cocoon. I still like this idea a lot, but as it looks now it does not quite come through. The cocoon should probably be hanging, and the shape of the butterfly breakting out of the cocoon should probably look quite different - halfway out with wings just stretching. Also, got some comment that the 3D-version was hard to see und understand what it was.

#231 Nice!
Cocoon in #224 is much better, possible to use this? Also this level of detail is better. Too many small details in #231. But I like the pattern of the wings - the large patterns.
