Thanks. Very nice - the best so far! It's abstract, but then again like a... weave. #48 and #50 got the best colors I think.
#46 and #45 are also nice, but makes me think of some pc-software - not sure which. Perhaps old Microsoft office or something..?
The logo is a bit like thoughts spinning around in the head, or brain nerves - synapses connectiing. Perhaps would that be something to explore - not make it into a brain (to obvious and boring) but perhaps letting a few of the lines connect, and in the connection energy spots appearing. ...Just a thought. And I know this isn't easy to do, but what if the lines where round instead of flat? I like the fact that the thickness vary - it makes it organic. Another possibility is to spice it with transparency and perhaps glow, to make it more like enery flowing.
Thanks for the great feedback. I'm rally glad that you like my approach. I'll start working on revisions based on your guides and submit new designs soon.
#100, #103, #104. I showed it to a couple of people and no one understood the connection - so I would say that didn't quite work in this design. Probaly that the nest of lines was dominant and didn't look like a cocoon.
#99 pretty impressive work! The colors are a bit more dull than in #48 (the "radial" color gradiant is weaker in #99, #48 has stronger colors in center).
http://www.shifters.se/Shifters.se/sandra.html more vivid colors. Would it be posseble to explore a "spark" or something to show that a connection is made - if the lines are thoughts, and when the connect in a good way, a new idea is created. Or something like that..
I like the blue green colors, but it would be nice to see more variations. Didn't quite work for me in #107 - still get that Microsoft office feeling there (sorry ;)
#98 was a bit weaker in colors, so after comparing over and over it had to go.
These almost thumbnails I can see on this website are very small. Would you mind doing me a favor and make the "symbol" larger. For now you could center it above the text logo. I would like to be able to enjoy more details in this piece of art! I will still be able to "see" how it would look in my mind if it was left aligned (like in #51) or like now - so that would not be a problem for me.
Thanks both for great feedback and link...it's very helpful. I'm glad that you like the way this design is developing. I'll start working on new revision first thing tomorrow.
new revisions Hope this is closer to what you had in mind. Look forward to you next feedback. Also, thanks for all the compliment regarding my work. :) I'll post color variations later this evening.
#118 (and #119, #120) Thanks for the differens sizes and the update! It is evolving and getting better for every update!
Some feedback: I think it would look just a bit better if there where fewer "connections", and a bit stronger. This is just an idea - I don't know how well it works in the design - but what if the conneciton is the new idea. the spark for a new thought where other thoughts and ideas connect. Should it then not be another color, and physically create a new pathway or shortcut? Like merging together in a cross, a bit fatter, and with another color. And then that this color is mapped with the "new ideas" text? Was I able to explain in text... Wait, I do a quick sketch: Something in this direction perhaps? What do you think? Perhaps one large connection and one small? http://www.shifters.se/Shifters.se/sandra.html
I love your design - It is truly top-quality! My collegues however thought it reminded them too much of a logo for an IT-company and voted it down. Sorry for that - know you put a lot of effort in this one.
But on the bright side - this is such a good design that I think you without problem will sell it for another company soon. There are lots of IT companies needing a superb logo like this.
