Shield ContractorsLogo Design Contest

While I like the logo on #1, we currently have a shield logo and I was hoping to move away from that. I like the road on it though.

I think the 'roof' on #3 & #5 make us look more like building contractors than civil contractors.

In some ways I'm sorry I posted the idea I'd had, because has done much that is different from that!

If anyone has any unique concepts, I'm happy to look at them.

Hi All, thanks for your efforts and entries so far.

I have met wih our Directors and they asked me to extend the competition by another week because while the designs have been great, they don't seem to encapsulate what we do. The current lead entry, #57, looks really good, but the mountains don't really link to what we do other than hinting at earthworks.

They liked the road on #46 as being more representative of what we do.

Some of the latest entries where original and I'd like to see a few more of those before we close the competition.

We really would prefer not to have a 'shield' as our logo - it is more law enforcement than civil construction
