Discussion

It is an interesting design. We are kind of just going with her first name Shelby. Although we do like the idea of using "SS" as part of the logo. Would love to see more from you. And I appreciate you being the first one to enter a logo. Thanks and I will keep a close eye on all of your submissions.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep thinking & see what else I can come up with.

Like a bunch of these. Number 17 is interesting because it does have somewhat of a retro look to it. I like that we dont need the name in it as I think that is helpful. I like the S creating a heart in 16 although the actual end result does not work for me. Would like to see you take that design a step further. Also, #13 is very interesting. Can you try that with different colors on the different S's. Maybe also see how it looks if you

Work on the concept of the two hearts. That is a great direction to go. If you can get the SS to make the heart and make it really fun/cool that would be great. Work it. It is a little too snakey and no need for the gradient background. Just have the SS heart stand on its own. Also, on colors, don;t like ht green in it. Go with more pinks/purples/violets. Try them more vibrant if you can.

So to give you an idea on fonts. She really likes the retro look of this kind of font as well from Janice Joplin

Take a look and would love to see what you can come up with.

OK, I'll make sure not to pick a top five until you've put some more in. I feel good you will make it into that based on what you have put together so far.

I forgot to ask, did you want me to include the name "Shelby" also?

#82 - Here is my first new design... I have to take my son to piano practice right now,
but I'll submit some more entries as soon as I get back in about 1 hour.
Thanks,

D - We love 93. It is so going in the right direction. You are currently our leader as we move to this final stage. Can we see a couple of different color schemes. Also can we see it black and white just to see how it looks. Last, can you show it to us with and without her name underneath. Just to see the SS stand on its own. I would just work off of variations of this as it is the one Shelby has gravitated to most.

Don - We love it. You're gonna be our guy. Let me ask. Is it possible to get the files broken down in 2 ways. First with the Shelby on the botton and then second with no name but just the design. Sometimes we may use it with her name and sometimes without. Also, we will want to change colors occasionally. Is that something we will be able to do with it in AI. Let me know. And she still likes #93 the best but it looks awesome as a stand alone too.

Awesome! Thanks!
Yes, I can definitely provided the multiple files. I can only upload one .eps (AI file) and
on .jpg of the winning design to this site, but I can e-mail you alternate files after
the contest ends.
Just let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks again,
Don

Oh, I think I forgot to answer your question about changing colors...
Yes, they can easily be changed using Adobe Illustrator.
