To make it easy, lets work off the white background only, #24.
We like the shape of the organic soft serve font. Not thrilled with the "&" sign. Can you try a different version?

Hello again!
We liked that you used a different ampersand in #30, but are not a fan of the new font and cracked style. We still like the two color design of #24, but just want a new ampersand, something similar to the one you used in #30. Make sense?

Thanks again for the revisions. We like the blue circle in #34. Can you make the words soft serve in #34 a little further apart. It looks like it is one word. Still not sold on either ampersand from #34 or 31, but we liked them both better than #24 so we took that one off the board.

Try and new ampersand, or maybe even a vintage "and" like this:

#52 I really like the shakes/cones font with shadow!
Also really like the organic soft serve.
not sold on the circle edges. Can we try smooth, but with an outter ring of small dots? Kind of like #50
also, the & sign is still not where we want it. try something more vintage or if you want, try using the word and like in these examples:

still not the right ampersand.
the circle is a little too plain. maybe we can add some stuff?

#57 is a step in the right direction! Can we try that with a & now too. Also, if you can make it more than just a blue dot, we'd like some flair. Maybe dots or another thin circle line...

Hearing from a lot of people in our camp that they like where your's is headed. We gotta nail down a better & sign. lets go back to a good & sign on number #57 and play with the circle a bit. cool?

#62 is better. Lets keep the funny circle for now, not totally sold on it. that ampersand isnt what we're looking for. think vintage and hand written. something like these:

Ok, no problem, i'm going to look for some more similar ampersands and upload some variations in a bit.

also like this style of circle, similar to yours, but has a nice white line just inside... maybe a few more bumps around the edge too..

one last request for now...can you try to find an ampersand that has some dimension? We love your logo because of the shadow text for SHAKES and CONES. maybe we can add some dimension to the & sign?

I just uploaded #74 : a first experience on giving dimension to the "&" but i removed the line because it made it too confuse.

Thanks for the hard work Filipe. I know you're probably tired of hearing this, but i still think the ampersand is a little off. I think its the loop in the middle on the left side that I dont like. maybe we can find one without that loop.

#75 we dont like cause we like the shakes and cones words dark. makes them stand out.

No problem, all i can do is try :-)

#72- can you outline the ampersand in gray like you did in #78?

#78- can you use the ampersand from #72 and outline it in gray?

#78, 79, 81- we don't like this ampersand. there's too many little balls on it and it's starting to not look like an ampersand. good try. :)

Lets work off of #82. We like everything about it but the shape of the ampersand. its just not as cute as our currently ranked #1.

we LOVE LOVE the shake font and the cones font. Dont touch it :)

We are going back and forth between a round circle with a line in it, and a wavy circle with the line it it.

can we see a totally new ampersand that just might wow us???

i understand, no worries about it :) theres still a bit of time on the contest and today is already a bit late, but tommorow i'll look around to see if i can get the right one.

I'll just have to say that i'll be away all day and i'll only be able to work on it later at night.

Quick question...if we pick yours as the winner, and have a name change last minute, would you be willing to help switch it from Shakes & Cones to Social Cones? Everything would stay the same, just swap out the middle name...

like how #115 was headed, with the lines inside the ampersand. however I feel like it looks too much like a number 8, with a letter J hanging off it.
maybe a block one like this:

Don´t worry i still didn´t give up on it :-) but like yesterday i'm currently at work and will only be able to work on somemore variations later today.

I obviously did a search on hundred of fonts for ampersands, and i have one just like your first example. I had seen your 2nd example too, and its really a beautiful ampersand but that´s not from an existing font, that' s already a custom ampersand. I'll maybe have a try at something similar, but it´s going to take a bit more time.

#125 and #126 are my first try on making my own ampersand and i must say that i have learned a lot about ampersands on the last couple of days :)

Wanted to give you a heads up that the group decided to go with Josh's logo. It was a VERY hard decision, but everyone felt that his fit in a little more with the overall style of our vision.

It was awesome working with you...and if we ever have any logo work again...we'll contact you right away!
