Can you be more specific ... more detail what exactly do you need? A logo for the delivery van?

i don´t understand. How can we design a van when you don´t have the final logo yet?

We would like to design a delivery van. Red Bull has done this well and there are many images on the web as examples. There are examples on the FORD site of smaller vans and larger cab forward trucks. Either will do and we are open to suggestions if you have a better idea.

The truck is a moving billboard. I am hoping this canvas will provide new ideas about branding.

Yes this helps but this site is for Logo design. And correct me if I'm wrong but in this case you don't need a logo. You rather want billboard design ... and you even don't have the logo contest completed.

My opinion is that when you make branding you try to follow the same design concepts in all your collateral materials ..... so it's not in your favor to want van, billboard or any other design before you've chosen a logo.
This is how I see this matter so it's quite a personal opinion but I think that many designers here think the same way.

This is logo design site not a vehicle wrap or custom graphics....we are not allowed to post such images and any images that are posted with vehicle and or do not meet the submission guidelines will be removed.

My suggestion is to contact Tyler (admin) and sort this out

it not out of the realm of possibility..but it would need to be cleared with Tyler...the other dis-advanage is that the 350x280 thumbnail image is not going to give you a good presentation

other issues...if a designer has never done a wrap before there is a learning curve that must be done in real life...no amount of googling is going to teach any one how to custom design a wrap....because there is so much more to consider than just drawing a pretty graphic on a flat surface.

Plus you would need to supply us with the correct vehicle template, Photos are not acceptable to use as templates due to lens distortions. Templates area available through sites the supply car and truck illustrator/Corel templates

Is this site called TEXTWRAPTOURNAMENT.COM? I have seen many designers get lo-balled while designing logos, and coerced into making whole campaigns for a company (banners, website templates, advertisements, backgrounds, and so fourth) JUST to try and be ranked #1, and lots of designers fall for it. This site is a great tool for both 1) fast, savvy, and experienced designers, also up and coming designers with a knack, and 2) Companies that need a slick logo, but don't really have enough money to pay an ad agency, or freelance designer for their time. 1 and 2 are related, but when this system is taken advantage of, lots of good designers waste time/money that they can't afford to please someone that wants the sweetest deal for the least $. Am I wrong?

I'm noticing on many comment threads for different logo contests that the tendency is to jump to negative conclusions. Is everything so warped that no one gives anyone the benefit of the doubt? It seems that people attack CH's or designers too often and maybe don't think that perhaps their intentions are not so dark as they seem to be interpreted. Bottom line is this: if it's a waste of time and money to design for any of these contests then don't submit anything. There is no minimum quota of submissions to remain a member of this site. You don't like it then move on. If one feels that the CH's are using this site to get top notch work for pennies then why be a member? There are members that over-see these contests to keep the CH's and designers in line. Let them do their job and designers can do what they love to do: design. My intentions are not to be mean or anything but it just seems that there is a tendency to be rude via these comments and often times it's unnecessary. Good luck everyone :)

Penguin only please...

I still don't get this. No disrespect intended, but in your logo contest, you provided half the design to us by providing the penguin, and you offered $1000. Now you want an original penguin drawing or charicature with a personality and a catch phrase, and you're only offering half that? No thanks.

I was doing a truck paint project and am winging this one. I want to use our penguin design. Thanks for coming along. mark
