great idea, but it doesn't jump at me. I think it is the way you have shafer redi-mix. i may grow on me though.

I'll work on a font with more of a rugged feel

Stronger font, slight gradient in blue colors on the logo and in the red Shafer font

i would like you to do the design with brighter blue and red. the colors are to dark.

Absolutely. However, it will not be until later this evening.

As requested, SHAFER without the redi-mix. I enlarged the font to be more proportional to the logo. I imagine your logo will be shown on different things in addition to a website...perhaps also on trucks or tools? It's what I had in mind when I designed the logo in order for easy recognition.

Please let me know if there are any other adjustments you will need. Thanks for a great contest, your ranking activity and participation is the kind that we designers truly enjoy.

Please be aware I have opened up a case against #79 (Max K) as I feel it's far too close to my currently ranked 1st and 3rd place entries.
