Entry #1 is exquisite and elegant but I'm looking for a more angular wing design and darker blues: the curves, roundness and lighter blue color makes it less masculine than I'd like. Please also see my updated uploads of example wings and my updated comments. I do love the way you added depth to the "S" so if you can make the wings more art-deco angular like the new examples, use the more blocky Bank Gothic for "ShadowAir LTD" in midnight blue, replace the motto with Airborne ISR solutions and shift it to the right like on our ShadowAir website. If you have the time and inclination, an example with our company name enclosed by the wings like in the example "Aviator" wing I uploaded, that would be great. If you feel that would distract from time spent on changing your first entry I fully understand. You can't be expected to read my mind but you are definitely on the right path with the exquisite and elegant look and feel!!!
#2 is very close: need more of a blue like in the Superman "S" I just uploaded and the little black icon gray like the wing? #3 if changed to the more angular Superman "S" shield with the blue "S" and night sky effect with the background behind the S not white but more gray to match the wings and it will be a winner. Thanks so much for the new look: we're almost there! Best wishes, Jim
Hi Julian, Nice #27. Black verticals adjacent "S" to dark blue to match new dark blue & emboldened ShadowAir (font needs to be slightly thicker to lessen contrast between the big grey S in the emblem). Airborne ISR Solutions grey to match wings. Metallic looking line below ShadowAir and thickness consistent with new changes per your perception. Many thanks for your efforts!
Forgot to mention: can you tilt the wings up and (possibly forward?) in #27 like you did in #3 & #4 (which seems to give the wings the effect of an embrace or a visual depth ..... hard to explain ...... but in #3 & #4 the wings seem to be lifting up and the center portion seems deeper thus bringing the wings forward slightly: whatever it is, the effect is absent in #27. Thanks!
Might also be a function of the verticals beside the S in #27 as compared to no verticals beside the icons in the center of #3 & #4 as well as round -vs- pentagonal between the wings? I don't know, but there is a distinct difference in my perception of them.
Julian, #46 is very nice: I think thinner does bring out the blue but makes it look much sleeker. I would say a bit thinner on the S still and also just a bit thinner on the 2 gray lines in the middle of the wings to see the effect. Also, ShadowAir in the same blue as the wings to see how it looks. Thanks for your attention to all these details!
Husk, Thanks for the quick updates. If you have the time and inclination, a design with a rounded S in a circle and a curve to the wingtips, as in other designs, would provide an opportunity to compete on both fronts. Thanks! Best, Jim
Husk, #106 is a nice start: let me think on it for a few hours and I'll get back to you. I haven't been able to dedicate much time to the logos today but will get to it later today/tonight. Thanks for this effort! Be well, Jim
Husk, #104 I really like the subtle enlargement of the globe (which I didn't catch at first). Even more exceptional was adding the ingenious "flying" effect: it seems to come flying off the screen at me. #106 is sort of plain but give me until tonight to figure something out. Thanks, Jim
Hi Husk, 122-124: the "washed out"/in-the-shadows look to the inside components of the pentagon seem to diminish the overall look of the design. Thanks for the effort but 104 is still the best of the lot. Best always, Jim
