Thanks for the entry, I like it! The font looks great. I think it would be nice to see the 'tools.parts.accessories' tag along the bottom in really small font. Maybe a circular emblem above the text? Just brainstorming, you're the expert. Thanks again!
Thanks for the additional entries, they look great. That font is exactly what I'm looking for, don't change it, it's perfect! I'd like to stay away from the star, just to stay out of copyright trouble, but I would love to have some sort of emblem above the font, or to the left like you have it in entry #22. Ultimately, I think a circular emblem with the laurel wreath on each side like the AMG emblem, With 'sg' at the top and 'autosport' at the bottom. Then in the center, maybe a wrench and a screwdriver, or some kind of tools or parts.
I really like your style and entries, I'm excited to see what you could come up with. Thanks for all your efforts!
Thanks for the feedback, however because the the wreath and the tools are not part of your public brief, I can't properly add those elements without infringing on dilovega's recent entries. If you have other ideas you'd like to explore, I'd be glad to help, and I'll give some thought to other concepts as well during the week.
I certainly don't want to cause a problem between designer's, so I just changed my public brief because that is what I'm really looking for. Thanks for responding and helping with my tournament!
I like the new entry #27, but I still think #19 takes the cake. I'd really like to have an emblem above the font. If you could put some sort of circular emblem with a thin wreath on the outer edge of the circle that would be great. As for the middle of the circle, I'm at a bit of a loss and open to suggestions.
I'll see what I can do but it's tough to float small round over such a long horizontal. The trick is, under most circumstances, if you were to make the logo a desirable width (like on on invoice) fine detail in the graphic elements does not show well. The more square shape of #27 lends itself better to showing off the wreath detail. Even in the case of AMG, your example shows how poorly the wreath reproduces at small sizes.
I will give it some thought and see about some alternatives.
