#2 Thanks so much Hakadu! It is much closer to what I am looking for. The paired down colors really gets it far.

I am afraid my idea of the lawn ornaments is still too big. The plants should be larger and still a little less campy-- representations of trees? Tall grasses, shrubs, even a San Franciscan home?

The font is much better too.

I will be reproducing this to be on the sides of my trucks, on tee-shirts for my crew and on business cards and Websites, So I like that the picture can be separate from the words.

#5 I've added a door and a window since I think adding the whole house would overshadow the other aspects.

By the way, it would be better if you leave comments on each designer's page regarding their designs since this way they'll receive an e-mail with the comments.

#6 The color is nice. I want to think about this one for a bit. It's definitely my favorite to this point.

#5 I hear what you are saying about adding the whole house vs a door and a window, but then I think that the logo has to have good garden design, and that is just going to far.

Right now, I like the look of #6 the most. I like the spacing of the plants. The font is nice. The colors...I don't think we have that quite right yet.

I would love to see different types of lawn ornaments. I attached a few pictures.

I like the flat line in #6 with the plants and ornaments coming out of it. It is what my logo sketch originally looked like, but I would like the pictures of the plants to look more like garden renderings (like in my attached rendering) with the lawn ornaments drawn within them. If that means that we have to go away from the flat line, I wouldn't mind trying that.

I want it to look like a very simple garden rendering that I might do for a client, if they asked me to incorporate garden ornaments into their yard.

I think it is getting closer, but I am still really trying to get away from the campy look that these represent. I want it to look professional, with a funny element. And I don't want it to be too cute.

I like Nymalba's #7 a bit because I like that there are more plants included with the ornaments secondary.

I don't prefer the daisy-like flower that is in most of the drawings.

Thanks so much for posting. Please know that if you have a better idea than the garden ornament concept.

After staring at them even longer....i am liking #2 because of the simplicity. I am wondering if we can keep the flamingo. Make it hot pink. Add more plants, make them all green. Remove the gnome. Have different simple plants. Cartoon like trees and grasses. Probably no flowers. I like the triangle shape that it currently has.

I really like your work and appreciate you working with my feed back. The flower and the mirror ball are great, but it looks too kid-like.

#27... I would like this one a little more, if there was a lawn ornament in the center and all plant material around it. I don't like the pine tree though because it looks too much like Christmas.... especially with the gnome next to it.

I love the style of #35...
I worry that it looks a little too much like a flower in a pot, rather than plant in a garden.

I would like to see something like this, but not necessarily a flower.

I'm going to move a few out, just to narrow things down, but I love your work. I am tending towards more more simple designs.

I love your logos and want to work with you in the next round. I am wondering how the logos will scale for different layouts... for example... what would #82 look like on the top of my web page, in banner form?

Also, to make it stand out a bit better, I want to change the slogan to "unique landscapes".

#120 can be interpreted both as a part of a tree or as the head of a bird

#113 Can you do this without the grey circle, but with the tree keeping that same shape? I like the bird.

Can you change the wording to "Unique Landscapes"?

Can you also show me what you think it would look like as a banner?

#112 uses the detail with the bird which can also be used as a banner

So, I think that the website suggests that I ask for:
White Background, Colored Background, Black & White, and Solid Colors...

Can I see this in these forms?

#155 - I've made the leaves bigger

#163 - I've tried to incorporate the idea of seasons, so each part of the tree represents a different season with its associated colors

Another designer is claiming that I stole her idea of using the bird in the tree and is trying to eliminate me from this contest so I have contacted an admin to straighten out the situation so it doesn't affect you in any way.

In any case I have submitted a few additional designs replacing the bird. Let me know what you think works best and hope you will not be affected by the more dirty side of the competition.

The whole affair was cleared up and the design stays. I'm glad it didn't affect the logo choices you are offered.

Hi Everyone,

I have been sitting and looking and the top 3 and have had a hard time deciding.
I love #1, but feel like a tree alone does not accurately describe what I do.
I like #2, but I really wanted a logo where the image an the text could be separate.
I love #3, but I don't feel like it speaks to my clients.

I am wondering if we can do one more round of drawings. It's up to you if you just want to alter what you have now or if you want to change it to something else. I think that an image, in any of the your styles, of the aeonium head would be gorgeous.

I know that's a little obscure, but its the plant that I use most commonly. I will attach a few pictures.

#181-182. I love these simpe designs. The plant is not quite right. This succulent os relatively stiff and uniform in shape. Maybe check out a few more pictures if it.

#220 is black and white only
#219 uses dark grey
#218 has lighter shades of grey
