Make mortgages sexy.
We are looking for a Sexy new Logo/Brand identity for a start-up Mortgage Website.
We are ready to bring ‘cool’ to the ‘very uncool’ world of mortgage brokering. This brand will be the fun alternative to the conventional image of mortgage brokers, banks, and typical financial institutional-isms.
We are entirely web-based, and so this brand must be instantly memorable. We plan to leverage social media heavily. Simplicity, sexiness, and yet a genuine ‘cool-factor’ are critical.
Think of the several of the most reknowned ‘cool’ brands: Virgin, Apple, and Google. Each of these brands represents a company that has turned its respective industry upside-down: Virgin = Transportation and Mobile Telecom, Apple = the anti-PC, computers, Google = Information Technology. Ask yourself what it would feel like if a company like Google or Virgin were to enter the financial service industries. Forget their colours and typography, but retain their business culture and accessibility.
While our angle is to be cool and sexy, it is imperative that we maintain an identity that doesn’t compromise clients’ ability to trust us with their mortgages. We aren’t trying to be outrageous
or offensive. Our use of the term “sexy” is more about lightheartedness and fun that outright sexuality.
Inspire people to trust their mortgages to a company that is cool, fun, even sexy.
NOTE: the word sexy in sexymortgages.com is the real brand. We hope to be able to substitute the words after it as we expand our services: i.e. sexyfinancial.com, sexyinsurance.com etc.
