Thanks for your participation in our contest. Please read the public comment for feedback on general direction for all the designs (e.g. colors, slogan, etc.).

Specific comments on your designs

1. #8 and #16 were removed due to the use of the stylized heart (overused in our industry) and also because the defined circle felt too clinical and "hospital-like". Maybe it's just the blue color, but it probably would be the same even with another color treatment
2. Still feels like there is too much blue in designs #6 and #7. Can you try either a different color for the leaves and/or a mix of colors in the leafs (green, grey, orange, blue and/or other complementary colors to our web template design)?
3. Can we also see a version with the "Hospice Care" in blue, and "Seven Oaks" in a more autumnal color (brown, grey, green, orange, etc.)
4. We'd like to see a version of each logo without the slogan. While we like the slogan (and ultimately would prefer to have it in the logo), we haven't seen a treatment that has struck us yet, and may very well just decide to take it out. In #6 either center "Hospice Care" or space it out so it is flush/fully-justified with "Seven Oaks"
5. Think #7 might be a bit too long for the logo, prefer the stacked treatment in #6
6. Like the mark treatment, although still like the idea (maybe it's too cliche or predictable) of a silhouetted old-growth oak tree. If possible, would like to see a treatment of that.

Thank you for your comment.
I played around complementary colors your template web page, and new proposals #45 #46 #47
The background is adapted to the new site, but if you want to see them on a white background - let me know.
I did some visualisations - www.toothpick.pl/adv/sample.pdf

Sebastian,

Thanks for the continued refinement, and implementing the requested modifications. Unfortunately, they all seemed to take the logo in an even more corporate direction (at least it seemed to us), so our direction was ultimately misguided.

It was actually very helpful to see the logos in context of the website. I think that your logo currently integrates the most with the page, but we do still strongly prefer a scripted font that is a bit more approachable and personal. You are more than welcome to try out some different options going down that road if you'd like.

In terms of specific feedback on #6 - there's still something that is catching our eye with it - can you push a version without the slogan in it? I think we are now resigned to just having the mark & name, while leaving out the slogan...it just seems to be too busy.

Thanks again for your participation, it's much appreciated.
