Seven MinutesLogo Design Contest

I think we are of to a good start. In #10 I really like his open and color blocked element. I would like to see more color blocking - Seven Minutes is kind of long and I would like to see something that would look great on a Polo Shirt or a mug or a cap.

I also like repeating designs. I really like the Diet Coke heart with a stick man.

These are some of my wilder ideas - it is 2:00am tonight. I would also love to see several completely clean - corporate world ideas and I would like to see some 2.0 edgier versions.

Well, it is getting late. I would love to see more of this talent pouring into our contest. Please feel the freedom to try new things. Can't wait to see what you all show me by morning.

What about more of a Big Abstract graphic - sweep of color with bold text inside.

What about underscoring something with 7 dots or 7 squares or a series of 7?

What about a rectangle with a path leading through it in web 2.0 design.

I still like the Diet Coke heart with the tiny dancing stick man and I like the Jake from Life is Good designs.

I would love to see some things that are out of the ordinary.

I'd like to see some entries in Black and White - it must look great in black and white and in color.

Looking for a happy strong recognizable logo.

I will be downloading some photos to my Facebook page and attaching a link soon. I am looking for more than text. I am looking for a graphic that will exude happy emotion of LIFE, HOPE, PURPOSE. See if these ideas will get you started. Feel free to go in lots of directions.

Would love to see what you all can do by adding abstract graphics, stylized animal or tree, etc.

Imagine seeing this on book covers, web design, t-shirts, letter head - everything.

Of course, we are looking for only original ideas - not replicas of what I just posted on Facebook. :<)

Also, in the end we will want a LOT of color. So don't feel afraid to show us color - we just want to be sure the graphic stands on it's own in Black and White.

Please let me know if some of you can try to add these stylized graphics to our logo concept.

As you can see from the variety so far - we are LOVING the creative ideas - we are still not sure which direction we will be moved in over the next few days - but I completely appreciate the variety of suggestions.

I also like BOLD color blocking. See the 7 Minute Life logo. I would love to see some ideas in that direction as well.

Everyone had done a great job today. I hope you will find even more inspiration over the next 24 hours. Still looking for large stylized elements - let's also begin to try some bright colors. I haven't really seen anything that explores color blocking.

We still like abstract graphics that symbolize hope, purpose, love, joy.

Thanks for the abstract creative ideas and I would like to continue to see more of them, and as the contest has 4 days remaining - my team members want to see more of the corporate logo look ideas as well. We are looking for a BRAND - a look that can become recognizable.

So, while I want to continue to see more of the abstract creative ideas, you can see our rankings have changed to reflect more of the standard corporate images.

Rankings can certainly change - is there a possibility of "creative corporate"?

I love all of the new ideas and can't begin to say how much I appreciate all of the ideas and efforts. Looking forward to new submissions.

#116 is very appealing to our team. It is bold and I can easily imagine it as a header on our website. It is also in a different scale than a lot of the other logos.

It is more rectangular in its overall design. Does anyone else have ideas that are have a bold rectangular shape to the entire design?

We had a LOT of great and creative new ideas today. With 3 days left we are still amazed by the talent you are all showing. We will be meeting over the next few days to begin to narrow down our selections. We hope in the next 36 hours you will continue to submit ideas. We are thrilled with many of the ideas, and yet we have not made up our mind yet on a single concept. There is 24 hours left in the contest and we would love to see your latest ideas. So far, bolder fonts and graphics have caught our attention. We still would like to see a variety of corporate looks as well as the more abstract ideas.

Even though we are leaning toward the corporate look, I still haven't seen many "happy dog" animations. I have two golden retrivers and the President of our company has two golden retrievers. see the flickr page for ideas.
