We like this design a lot but wonder what it would look like with a sans serif, more condensed typeface used in the "Hall of Fame" lettering. (Can't really examine the typeface you are using in the size we have access to, or even tell if it is a serif or sans-serif typeface, so beg your pardon if what you have used is a sans.) However, can you give us 2-3 different typefaces that might be a little stronger?
Hi John, I'm sorry I was away from my design computer when the contest went into judging mode. I will be back at my computer tonight (approx. 6pm CDT) While in judging mode, only the first place designer is allowed to submit revisions. We think the logo looks great, but wondering if we can see the gold type treated a little differently. Keep the gradient but maybe lose the inner bevel that you have around the type. Just wondering if there could be a little too much going on with the SEMA type, that's all...maybe simpler would be better.
