Could you please provide one more version of this. We would like to see the cap in a dark red, and the sunset color adjusted a bit to be a little more red on the dark side of the sunset - the objective is to try to get a red cap and the sunset to "go" together better.
Is this the most recent color version - with the bit of land slightly bigger and with the website colors (blues) used? And does the image of the land match black and white version #201. I want to be sure we are narrowing it down to the final versions.
Great - how about this, but with the neutral cap, like in #194. Then, if you could update the black and white version - maybe you could refine the land a bit. The white mark there looks a bit like a giant gull, maybe you could tweek that a bit.
could you show this version with a red cap too, but a darker red that is not as intense as the earlier version. Our group was torn about the color, I would like them to see both options. Thanks!
Hi Max - we are getting really close to this being our choice for our logo. Hoping that you can look at the attached picture of Tillamook Head and make some final refinements to the shape of the land. You will see that there is actually a bit of land off the point of Tillamook Head (there is a decommissioned lighthouse out there). I am also including a link to the website that we are currently building out and will launch this summer (with our new logo on it). Perhaps you could show a version with the blues tweeked a bit for coordination with the blues on the website?
Possibly more emphasis on School District. Because we are a tourist town, we see alot of Seaside stickers and logos - we want to be sure ours doesn't look like just another Seaside sticker, and that we are representing out school district.
Better, but the sun should either be higher (not in a setting position) or it should be off screen to the right with maybe just the sun rays showing (representing the setting sun).
I know this is tricky, sorry about that! The sun should be over on the right to represent the setting sun over the ocean (we are looking south in this orientation). The darker land mass, Tillamook Head, should be the only land seen on the right. Then to the left of Tillamook head the hills rise up.
Hmm...still not quite right. The land should rise to the left (east) with the ocean on the rigth (west). Some representation of the sun would still be nice - maybe rays coming in from the west, or a fade to the west that represents the sunset color.
Here is a pic that shows what the land looks like. The point to the far right is not visible when you stand on the beach. The closer point (it is darker) is Tillamook Head.
Because we have such a strong sense of place in our community, it is important that it is depicted as accurately as possible. I the sun were rising here, it would be off screen to the left. If the sun were setting over the ocean, it would be off screen to the right.
We like the clean lines of this logo. This vantage point shows th Tillamook Head land mass if you are looking south...the sun sets in the west, so this is the one thing that seems off. How would you change this so that the sun is setting in the west (which would be off to the left)?

The black and white logo looks good - we would just want any adjustments to the land to be the same.
