Comment Activity Source 52 commented on #204 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #198 Could you please provide one more version of this. We would like to see the cap in a dark red, and the sunset color adjusted a bit to be a little more red on the dark side of the sunset - the objective is to try to get a red cap and the sunset to "go" together better. 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #201 Withdrawn Great, thanks! 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #202 Withdrawn Now the shore line is aligned with black/white version 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #198 Is this the most recent color version - with the bit of land slightly bigger and with the website colors (blues) used? And does the image of the land match black and white version #201. I want to be sure we are narrowing it down to the final versions. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #201 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #197 Withdrawn Great - how about this, but with the neutral cap, like in #194. Then, if you could update the black and white version - maybe you could refine the land a bit. The white mark there looks a bit like a giant gull, maybe you could tweek that a bit. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #197 Withdrawn island slightly bigger 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #195 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #194 Withdrawn could you show this version with a red cap too, but a darker red that is not as intense as the earlier version. Our group was torn about the color, I would like them to see both options. Thanks! 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #194 Withdrawn Great thank you 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #194 Withdrawn Thank you. When we are all back in the office on Monday, we will work on any final requests. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #194 Withdrawn Picked blue color form your website 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #194 Withdrawn updated sorry for the delay 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #186 Withdrawn Here is one more pic of Tillamook Head: https://cannonbeachphoto.com/seaside-beach-tillamook-head-oregon-coast/ 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #186 Withdrawn Hi Max - we are getting really close to this being our choice for our logo. Hoping that you can look at the attached picture of Tillamook Head and make some final refinements to the shape of the land. You will see that there is actually a bit of land off the point of Tillamook Head (there is a decommissioned lighthouse out there). I am also including a link to the website that we are currently building out and will launch this summer (with our new logo on it). Perhaps you could show a version with the blues tweeked a bit for coordination with the blues on the website? Tillamook Head Reference Pic: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Beach_at_Seaside_with_Tillamook_Head_-_Oregon.JPG Our new website: https://seasidesd10.schoolinsites.com/ The black and white logo looks good - we would just want any adjustments to the land to be the same. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #191 Withdrawn thank you for an opportunity Max 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #187 Withdrawn Go for it! 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #187 Withdrawn ready ty 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #187 Withdrawn Yes, that would be great. I will move you into 1st place in a few minutes so you can upload. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #187 Withdrawn Do you want to see it only in black/white without gradients!? 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #189 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #187 Withdrawn Thank you - could you also show this one in black and white please. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #187 Withdrawn please review 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #173 Withdrawn could you show how this would look with the cap in a neutral color. 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #170 Withdrawn Like the concept, but it is hard to read. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #170 Withdrawn one more :) 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #169 Withdrawn ty 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #169 Withdrawn I think this looks good. We will include in the next survey. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #169 Withdrawn please review. Thank you for your guidance 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #165 Withdrawn Our high school primary color is red. Could you try a version with the cap in red. 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #165 Withdrawn How about one updated with a modified landscape - we are finding that people REALLY identify with the landscape here. Here is a picture that gives a closer view of Tillamook Head, and one that people seem to identify with. https://cannonbeachphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Seaside-Beach-with-Tillamook-Head-Oregon-Coast.jpg 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #165 Withdrawn updated please review 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #141 Withdrawn Possibly more emphasis on School District. Because we are a tourist town, we see alot of Seaside stickers and logos - we want to be sure ours doesn't look like just another Seaside sticker, and that we are representing out school district. 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #141 Withdrawn Do you think you might work on a version that has some sort of reprentation of academics. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #141 Withdrawn Outer circle a bit thicker 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #141 Withdrawn What is the difference between this one (141) and #129? 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #138 Withdrawn updated 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #129 Withdrawn How do you think you would depict this in black and white? 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #129 Withdrawn Yes! 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #128 Withdrawn is that what you mean? 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #125 Withdrawn Maybe the colors of the sun could bleed in from the right (west) to represent the sunset, but without the acutal sun in the image? 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #124 Withdrawn Better, but the sun should either be higher (not in a setting position) or it should be off screen to the right with maybe just the sun rays showing (representing the setting sun). 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #123 Withdrawn I know this is tricky, sorry about that! The sun should be over on the right to represent the setting sun over the ocean (we are looking south in this orientation). The darker land mass, Tillamook Head, should be the only land seen on the right. Then to the left of Tillamook head the hills rise up. 4 years ago Source 52 commented on #123 Withdrawn please review 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #120 Withdrawn Pic link: https://pbase.com/longbachnguyen/image/168850262 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #120 Withdrawn Hmm...still not quite right. The land should rise to the left (east) with the ocean on the rigth (west). Some representation of the sun would still be nice - maybe rays coming in from the west, or a fade to the west that represents the sunset color. Here is a pic that shows what the land looks like. The point to the far right is not visible when you stand on the beach. The closer point (it is darker) is Tillamook Head. 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #119 Withdrawn Because we have such a strong sense of place in our community, it is important that it is depicted as accurately as possible. I the sun were rising here, it would be off screen to the left. If the sun were setting over the ocean, it would be off screen to the right. 4 years ago lgarvin commented on #57 Withdrawn We like the clean lines of this logo. This vantage point shows th Tillamook Head land mass if you are looking south...the sun sets in the west, so this is the one thing that seems off. How would you change this so that the sun is setting in the west (which would be off to the left)? 4 years ago
