I currently have the logo behind a blue gradient. The background is flexible (doesn't have to exactly match ... or be a gradient). We do like the blue color though (please choose something close to what we currently have). Having a version with a white background and dark blue text will also be helpful so we can see how it would look in print (documents, business cards, etc). The alternate versions could wait for the final round.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Keep it simple. A simple image with text. Attached the current version on a blue background. Would like something a bit more modern. The background color might change slightly but it will be a medium / dark blue color.
