Sea Palm CondominiumsLogo Design Contest

This is for a sign for the "Sea Palm Condominiums" or "Sea Palm Condos" in our area. I have been contacted to come up with a redesign for their sign as it was knocked down by a drunk driver.

I am going for a retro or 50's modern look with a light seafoam green or mint green color with a pop of blue, either navy blue or more of a vibrant darker blue such as sherwin williams Highland Loch HGSW2352. Colors may slightly change after letting the condo owners view. There will also be a stark white. But again I am open to any 1950's color scheme. The client wants greens and blues and whites.

I love the idea of a slightly turned oval or oval on an angle or a subtle curved square with the top being wider than the bottom for the shape, but I am open to any shapes as long as they are retro/ 50's modern. I love the idea of a starburst on the top half almost representing the sea palm and then on the bottom underneath the word "condos or condominiums" a color connecting to the word like it is water or a wave. Hope that makes sense. But again I am open to any design ideas. The building was built during the 1950's and has a lot of vertical lines within the architecture that pop out.
