thanks for all of these logos.. it helps me start to articulate what I'm hoping to accomplish. upon reflection, what I really want to do is break down the barriers that are preventing children in poverty from realizing their potential, from becoming "someone", of having an impact. it's about giving them exposure to a wider world, seeing the future as something exciting to look forward to.

but also giving them a real hand up, engaging business owners and corporations so that they will give these youth the opportunity to join their teams. it isn't about charity, it's about real opportunity for everyone to succeed, not just a privileged few. it's about making the bigger pie that everyone can participate in.

http://forum.biggerpieforum.org for a concept I like.

thanks for new postings.. couple of other comments. I would prefer more conceptual to more literal interpretations.

the logo has to appeal to both people working in the social services sector and people working in the corporate world, as I'm trying to bring the gap between the two.

another way of putting it would be to focus on not where we start, but how far we progress, in terms of personal development and positive impact.

describing having a positive impact conceptually would be great.

I intend this organization to be a band of people that have real solutions to breaking down the barriers and creating an environment which allows everyone make their contribution, including and especially those that are being prevented from doing so by obstacles set up by the people that have already "made it".

I don't have the solution in other countries, but the answer in America is delivering the promise of the American Dream, that you really can "make it" and be "someone" if you work hard, and that you shouldn't be denied that promise because you got a bad start or because you are poor, or because "we" can't afford it..

I see this as solutions focused, making it work for everyone vs. taking from one group to give to another.

thanks for new postings; I like the conceptual flavor, optimistic, but also indicative of our mission of helping organizations and people grow and prosper. If possible, I would like to see some variations without the tagline, or perhaps with the organizational name, which is "social entrepreneurship advisors". many thanks for your entries..

thanks for posting the logos with the name of the organization, I don't think it works..too much repetition, but need a new tagline. can we try

"advancing enterprise in South Florida"

I prefer the tagline in light grey vs. colors.

thanks again.

Dear designers..

thank you very much for everyone that participated in this contest. the entries were of very high quality and your input enabled me to really think through the organization and how it should be represented visually, so it was much more than a logo contest!
