A simple icon, combined with lean and contemporary type. The icon will work well as a stand-alone watermark as well. Any input is welcome and appreciated. thanks! Kim
I like the type, but not the circular icon. I'd like to try and see if I can get the S, C, and V into one icon, kind of like what I quickly put together below.
Could we see what it looks like when the V is the same size as the S - that that is would basically look like a 3/4 circle. Maybe the V could be a different shade so it stands out. If you have other variations Id like to take a look at those too.
Whoa, cool. I am loving the eye idea. I think #71 is my favorite so far. I dont know that the pupil works in #72, but maybe a small dark blue pupil could work in #71.
Also - do you think the icon could be a bit bigger in relation to the text. Could you also remove the little dot over the i in imagery. I don't know why, but those really bug me, lol.
I really like that one Kim. Do you think that the average person would recognize it as an eye, or is that even needed. Would very subtle eyelashes look ridiculous?
Great! "Hidden" images in logos are actually a plus. It is nice when things are not obvious right away. People love discovering something new. For instance...did you know there is an arrow in the FedEx logo?
I am happy to explore the eyelashes....just so you can see. It may just add a bit of funkiness to the image.
Hi scv...not evolution font......I actually drew it by hand. :) So...yes...I can re-create into any thickness. Id' be happy to. I will let you know when I am able to make the changes and upload new submissions.
I like #113 and #114 but I am just trying to decide whether to go with 1 or 2 color. I think 1 color may be better for my uses.
I guess for me I would like to see the icon on the left of the text. I would also like to see some other fonts you think may work. Maybe a block SCV and script imagery or something like that. That may make it a tad more feminine, and most of my clients are women!
As part of my final package I provide also the black and white versions...plus icon centered and on the left of a winning design. That way you have what you need for all applications and formats.
I will work on creating some with alternate typography now.
Oh I didn't know that Kim. I haven't actually worked with any professional designers, so I didnt know what to expect as far as the final deliverable goes. What do you think looks best - the one color or dark blue V ?
Since I added the split to call out the V...I think I prefer the 1-color. I can always provide you with the 2-color version if you change your mind. It will be the same logo....just 1 or 2 color versions. :)
