I really like the globe represented as an apple... that is super clever! I also like him balancing the globe on his finger.
However, the emotional feeling I get from this character is a little bit too reserved for my tastes... not as playful as I'd like. Same thing with the fonts -- the fonts feel a little too "serious" to me.
Also, after receiving a bunch of different cartoon character entries from different designers, I'm now starting to lean against my original idea of having a character that looks too similar to me... I just added a new message about this in the main "Contest Discussion". Sorry to throw a new monkey wrench into the works here! :)
