The mission of our school is to affirm each child’s natural curiosity, giftedness, and ability to change the world. We do this by creating a nurturing community, focusing on the development of the whole child, and embracing the unique natural environment at Millican Reserve.

Open (not orange)

This a nature based school where the children will play outside several hours each day. Access to 1k acres greenspace. No desks in classrooms, project based learning, community garden, etc.

I don't want to stifle creativity, but the image of an old fashioned school house with rain boots sitting outside keeps popping into my head. Or footprints on a hike over a fallen log or something. But be creative!
