Discussion

The purpose of this job is to create a logo for our "Top 25 Toys". I uploaded to the brief what we are currently using which is a little tired to say the least.

We will create a promotional sticker and will put it on the items that are selected. We will promote this in print in our catalogues as well as online on our online toy store.

WE DO NOT WANT A LOGO FOR OUR NAME.

The initial brief was vague so hopefully everyone will read this.

Any questions, please ask.

Thanks & good luck!

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Hi Chris

I've a few question about the stickers

To conserve reproduction cost do you prefer

1. single colour or 2 colour (pantone or mono/duo tone)
2. square stickers or custom shape such as circle or oval or as shown with current entries
3. Can we use just TOP 25 or is it required to be Top 25 Toys)

hey scott

1. multi color, we will print in process color
2. we are open to shapes
3. TOP 25 works well either way

We are open to ideas and suggestions to get the most out of the promotional item.

The idea is to attach a promotional talking point to the items we are trying to sell. Initially, this was to be used on the web and in our catalogues, we will be taking it a step further and eventually getting die-cut stickers to apply to the packaging.

Options with and without a year attached to it can also be considered.

we need to think about the impact of how this logo or icon will look to the consumer.

We plan on using it to help push promotion through all channels.

Simple is best, too many colors and too many features dilute the power of the logo/icon.

Avoid blended or fading colors, keep it simple yet impactful, youthful, looking for the WOW factor.

To date, we just are not hitting the mark as of yet with what has been submitted.

Creative needs to be straight to the point, simple, fun, and when parents & kids see it, they know its a must have item as the logo/icon tells them that this is a hot item.

some of the simplest approaches to promotion might be the most effective.

Food for thought.

Additional logos have been added to the brief to possibly create ideas that could involve part of our logo, like the single image of the scholar.

Thanks.
